I originally chose the Poetry and Distance room type, but later I saw that the first place on Ctrip was the Jiwan Village room type, so I changed to Jiwan Village. Later I found that the Jiwan Village room type did not face the terraced fields at all. I went there and asked the store if I could change it to Poetry and Distance. Poetry and Distance was full that day. Fortunately, the store paid the difference and upgraded the Water and Sky Room type (the room type facing the terraced fields). I feel that I still have to look at the panoramic view when booking a room in the future, and I can't trust the rankings. Finally, the most cost-effective room type of this B&B is still Poetry and Distance.

The room has a beautiful view and is very close to the No. 2 Observation Deck. The lady boss provides good service. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the B&B, which provides three meals at your own expense. However, the room has been decorated for a long time and there is no elevator. The hotels in Longji are mainly for scenery, but overall it is still very worthwhile. If you drive, you need to go to the Zhuangjie large parking lot. After arriving, the boss will lift the luggage to the first floor of the B&B by crane. Walk to the B&B by yourself.

The B&B is located halfway up the mountain in Dazhai. Although the facilities are not up to the level of a star hotel, they are very good considering the transportation costs. What we drink and use in Dazhai is mountain spring water. Everyone agrees that this water is very comfortable after washing your face. The rooms in the B&B with two cities and one living room are on the top floor and have a great view. It is about 900 meters away from the starting point of Longji Jinkeng Cableway. The owner's family is very nice and the food they cook is very delicious. The chicken soup is great if you eat two of them.

1. Location: It is easy to find. You can see it as soon as you enter the mountain. There is no particularly large slope. It is very friendly to those who are afraid of driving uphill and parking. There is a parking space downstairs. And you can see a terraced field from the balcony. 2. Facilities: The facilities are complete, but climbing 4 floors every day is also very tiring, haha, and toiletries are complete. 3. Service: Very enthusiastic, help with luggage, although the meal is for 3 people, but each meal is also provided for 4 people. Breakfast, rice wine, and fruit plates are provided every day. 4. Additional: If you purchase, you will be given ethnic costumes for taking photos. After all, it is free, so just take photos. The homestay has free coffee and rice wine.

A very satisfying stay Facilities and environment: The room is very large and you can see the terraced fields from the window. The higher you live, the less obstruction. Smart toilet and shower (there are also rooms with bathtubs), large water and stable temperature, and there is a sweat steaming room in the room. Although we didn't use it, it is indeed rare. There is a dedicated parking area, and it is a few minutes' walk to the homestay. Services and catering: Because it is on the mountain, there is a free shuttle bus. The boss and his family are very warm and friendly. There is no elevator, but they will help with luggage. Coffee and tea are provided, and breakfast includes some simple staple foods such as soy milk, as well as freshly made rice noodles and cakes. The dishes are also delicious and reasonably priced. Spring water chicken and bamboo chicken are recommended. The rice wine is sweet and delicious. I ate several meals here. The homestay is not far from the Thousand-Layer Ladder of the No. 2 Observation Deck and the No. 1 Observation Deck Xishan Shaoyue, but it is very far from the No. 3 Golden Buddha Peak. Based on this accommodation experience, the following itinerary is recommended for non-self-driving tourists: ①Take a tourist bus to Jinkeng Dazhai Visitor Center in the morning. We arrived in about 2.5-3 hours from Guilin Station. ②Find a store to store your luggage at the visitor center, buy a cable car ticket to go up the mountain to Jinfoding, walk down one way by yourself, or take the cable car directly back and forth. ③Return to Jinkeng Visitor Center to contact the owner to pick you up at the homestay (you can contact the owner on the mountain, and it takes some time to dispatch the car) ④The next day, walk to the Thousand-Layered Ladder and Xishan Shaoyue (you can also play one of them if you have time early the day before) ⑤Take the bus back to Guilin or go to other places in the afternoon. PS: Self-driving is more convenient and free in terms of travel, but the road in the scenic area really tests driving skills. Don't try it if you are not confident in your driving skills.

The room was warm and comfortable. The hotel was very nicely decorated. The hotel service was also very thoughtful. We originally booked a room for 4 people, but later added an adult and 2 children. We planned to prepare breakfast for the children, but the hotel still gave us breakfast based on the number of people. Afternoon tea was also moved to 11 o'clock the next day as we arrived late on the first day. The hotel also provided a travel photography service, which was also very good. We communicated with them in advance to choose the clothes, and brought them to the hotel for us to change into for the photo shoot. There was no hidden or mandatory consumption. In short, it was a very good stay experience, and it is worth recommending.

The B&B is very new, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and decorated in Chinese colors. The location is on the mountain. Contact the B&B in advance and the owner will pick you up at the bottom of the mountain (we picked up at the ropeway station) Early the next morning after I checked in, I walked for about half an hour to the top of a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise. Although the nearby terraces were a bit withered, the air was very fresh and I also saw very active free-range chickens. It made people completely immersed in nature and felt suddenly enlightened!

Perfect hotel. The view from the bedroom is so good that you don't even feel like you need to leave the hotel. The food at the restaurant is also great and at a good price. They don't know how to speak english but they always tried to help with everything they could and we were able to communicate through translation apps. We booked transfers from guilin to the hotel and from the hotel to Yangshuo and everything went very smoothly (and a lot cheaper than we would get anywhere else). The breakfast is only chinese and rather small, but very tasty! We recommend this hotel to anyone going to this area.

There are few comments, but I must praise Yundu this time! First of all, it should be the most satisfactory homestay on this trip. When we arrived at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, the homestay would arrange a handsome boy to pick us up at the parking lot. After getting off the car, we walked along the mountain trail to the homestay within 5 minutes. We didn't have to carry the suitcases by ourselves. The handsome boy put the luggage outside the room door early. Secondly, the room facilities are very new and complete, with smart toilets, projections, and clean and tidy hygiene. We booked a 270° panoramic mountain room. All the rooms in the homestay can see the whole view of the terraced fields. It is a 5-minute walk from the No. 1 viewing platform, but I don't think there is any need to go to the viewing platform specifically. This homestay is full of panoramic views! Moreover, no matter what room type, it is equipped with an independent terrace, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Finally, the food is reasonably priced, including bamboo chicken, bamboo glutinous rice, fish, etc. All the food is delicious! We also gave the Yao family homemade glutinous rice wine, which is very delicious. I drank more than half a pot by myself, and I can ask for more if it is not enough! After checking in, the handsome guy will send us back to the Dazhai parking lot. In short, if the full score is 10, I will give it 100 points! 😃😃 If I have to say a disadvantage, it is that I don’t want to leave! 😁😁

We had a bad start as there was no one to check us in despite arriving at 3:00pm, but they apologized and made it up to us. The lady who runs the place and her two dogs were very friendly. Really bad weather in Ping’an village (Nov 13-14), luckily the room was beautiful and comfortable. It was pity we couldn’t enjoy the views from our balcony because of the fog. The bathroom was a highlight, better than the ones we had in 4* hotels all over China. One thing we did notice is that there was no table inside the room as the pictures had you believe. We did have a table in the balcony, but not inside the room, so we couldn’t use it as it was really really cold outside. The internet was fine, could do some work from my room. **On a side note, if you plan to get here from Guilin using public transportation you should think twice. We took the bus from Qintan station to Longshen at 10:00am and ended up arriving at the hotel until 3:00pm as we didn’t catch the connecting bus to Ping’An. The bus also makes a lot stops so it’s not time efficient. It was cheap though, and people at both stations were super friendly and eager to lead us to the right bus.
