This property/plaza looked very appealing online when researching where to stay while visiting Los Algodones with my parents who were getting dental work done. From a previous trip, my parents mentioned how a lot of places close early there (by 5pm), so finding this hotel at the MediPlaza, where the website online says the coffee shop is open until 8pm and a restaurant is open until 9pm was exciting! The hotel lobby is at the end of the plaza and the hotel rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the plaza, while the shops and food places are on the ground level. The man at the front desk was very kind both upon checking in and out. Heads up: there are no elevators, so you must be able to carry your luggage up and down the stairs yourself. The rooms look exactly how they are pictured. They are very simple rooms but nice enough. There were 4 people in our group, two rooms total. On the first day, getting settled in our rooms, one of the rooms didn't come with any towels, the other room came with two towels. After asking the front desk for two more towels, the lady at the desk said "Sorry, no towels today. Ask tomorrow." The next day, we asked for towels again at the front desk and were told to go find the cleaning cart and ask them for a towel. When going to find the cleaning cart, no person was present. Thankfully there were a few bath towels on the cart and we took two of them. Three days into our 5 night stay, we finally had fresh towels in ONE of our rooms when returning from being gone for the day. However, nothing else was touched; old towels were removed and new towels were replaced but beds were not made, etc. The shower floors were dirty. They are tile; but they looked like they could have used a good scrub. The beds were very hard, however, the pillows and sheets were very soft. One of our rooms only had 4 channels on their TV, no English speaking channels. The other room had 10 or so channels, with 2 English speaking channels, but they were both 24 hour news channels. When asking the front desk about this, they advised each room should have 4 English speaking channels; when we told them that wasn't our case, their response was "Sorry." One of our rooms did not have a threshold on the bottom of the door, there was about a 1 inch gap; which explains the random bugs we'd find in our room. The following info is not a reflection of the rating of this property, but I want to share, because I feel it would be helpful to me if I was reading this review. As mentioned earlier, part of our reason for staying at this hotel was because of the other places located at the plaza that stayed open later. Even though their website states that the coffee shop is open until 8pm, and the deli is open until 430pm, both closed at 2pm each day we were there. Also, there were only 3 sandwich options to choose from; no salad options like their website mentions. The coffee shop had very limited options as well and were out of many options. The restaur
