I chose this hotel because it was only few steps away from my dentist. I’d stayed here on a prior dental visit and had a decent room and a good night’s sleep, but this time was different. The room I had this time was actually filthy and appeared to be the result of gross longtime lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. The shower floor tile was full of mildew and the shower door drain channel had somebody else’s strands of hair as well as mildew and what appeared to be some feeble attempts to patch the leaks. The fridge had its outer layer hanging half peeled off and the wall light was inoperable. The toilet had large severe cracks. The cute ceramic wall hanging was actually covering a huge hole in the wall. I couldn’t fathom why there was a capped irrigation pipe hanging from the ceiling above the bed but I fell asleep wishing it would never burst. This room was next to a storage room and the noise of the door banging constantly was irritating. The only pleasantry about my stay here was the great food & service at the restaurant next door.

My husband is staying at this hotel as we speak for 8 days. It is a holiday today which we were unaware so my husband asked the front desk manager what restaurants were open. He stated none. My husband stated he was diabetic and needed to eat something and the employee just shrugged his shoulders. No one was on duty to help my 75 year old husband drag his large suitcase up two flights of stairs. The room is dark snd dingy. He went to walk around and several people in the street were very helpful giving him recommendations of places to eat that were open. I believe Sani Dental owns this hotel. My husband will speak to whomever is in charge tomorrow. Beware: DO NOT stay at this worn down hotel with incompetent, rude staff.

Decent Mexican hotel owned by Sani Dental Group. Nothing special but clean and comfortable. Convenience can't be beat. Sani will reimburse a portion of the cost if you have a Sani dental appointment. Restaurant and convenience store on site.

The place was overall ok and clean. The room I had, had a window that looked out into the hall and another that was near the ceiling so the room was a bit dark. Very nicely decorated, beds were solid . Unfortunately the shower dribbled water. One day there was no hot water. The hotel was conveniently located to Sani Dental. Mi Casa restaurant is a great place for food , just steps from the hotel. If I have to go back for dental work I’d probably still stay there because of its convenient location and the inexpensive cost. Be sure to bring $50 cash for the hotel room deposit.

The hotel was recommended to us by our friend who worked for Fortuna Dental, Miguel. After dental work a place to rest in private was very much appreciated. The location was just down the block . The Me Casa restaurant in the plaza was an excellent find. The heat and air both worked , there was lots of water pressure in the shower. We will definitely return.

It is owned by Sani Dental where I was getting my dental work. It was a complete disaster! The hotel did not have an elevator or an ice machine. I was so swollen up that I had to go back in the morning to get my bottom all restitched. The room was clean but the beds were hard! Its a NO!

Acceptable by most US standards. Very old with hard beds and rundown furnishings but a very friendly staff. The California Hotel, two blocks away, is rated one step above the Celito Lindo but I can't vouch for that. I can tell you that the restaurant at the California Hotel leaves much to be desired.

This property/plaza looked very appealing online when researching where to stay while visiting Los Algodones with my parents who were getting dental work done. From a previous trip, my parents mentioned how a lot of places close early there (by 5pm), so finding this hotel at the MediPlaza, where the website online says the coffee shop is open until 8pm and a restaurant is open until 9pm was exciting! The hotel lobby is at the end of the plaza and the hotel rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the plaza, while the shops and food places are on the ground level. The man at the front desk was very kind both upon checking in and out. Heads up: there are no elevators, so you must be able to carry your luggage up and down the stairs yourself. The rooms look exactly how they are pictured. They are very simple rooms but nice enough. There were 4 people in our group, two rooms total. On the first day, getting settled in our rooms, one of the rooms didn't come with any towels, the other room came with two towels. After asking the front desk for two more towels, the lady at the desk said "Sorry, no towels today. Ask tomorrow." The next day, we asked for towels again at the front desk and were told to go find the cleaning cart and ask them for a towel. When going to find the cleaning cart, no person was present. Thankfully there were a few bath towels on the cart and we took two of them. Three days into our 5 night stay, we finally had fresh towels in ONE of our rooms when returning from being gone for the day. However, nothing else was touched; old towels were removed and new towels were replaced but beds were not made, etc. The shower floors were dirty. They are tile; but they looked like they could have used a good scrub. The beds were very hard, however, the pillows and sheets were very soft. One of our rooms only had 4 channels on their TV, no English speaking channels. The other room had 10 or so channels, with 2 English speaking channels, but they were both 24 hour news channels. When asking the front desk about this, they advised each room should have 4 English speaking channels; when we told them that wasn't our case, their response was "Sorry." One of our rooms did not have a threshold on the bottom of the door, there was about a 1 inch gap; which explains the random bugs we'd find in our room. The following info is not a reflection of the rating of this property, but I want to share, because I feel it would be helpful to me if I was reading this review. As mentioned earlier, part of our reason for staying at this hotel was because of the other places located at the plaza that stayed open later. Even though their website states that the coffee shop is open until 8pm, and the deli is open until 430pm, both closed at 2pm each day we were there. Also, there were only 3 sandwich options to choose from; no salad options like their website mentions. The coffee shop had very limited options as well and were out of many options. The restaur
