It's a unique experience and worth staying. The only thing is that there is no elevator. You can only carry your suitcase up by yourself.

Quite unexpected, very nice hotel. The transportation is convenient and the service attitude is very good. The furnishings and furniture inside are very high-quality, and of course the prices are not cheap. Haha, there is a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk.

It's so good. The staff are kind and it's a really pretty hutel. It's a hotel I'd definitely stay at again. The location is great, and the free breakfast is so good.

We had a good stay here for several days in April 2023.    The gentlemen working the weekend and evenings were very friendly and accommodating and made it feel like a luxury experience. We loved the beautiful, greenery-filled courtyard where they lit gas fires in the evenings, creating a great ambience.   We had just one issue: The internet (which is not free but is rather rolled into a fairly steep $35/day (plus tax) mandatory “resort fee”) was unusably slow. When the hotel was busy we got under 1mbps in the room and less than 2mbps in the lobby or courtyard. It felt like dial-up. It was randomly better late at night for one day before crashing back down and staying at the poor speeds the rest of the stay. Even basic web browsing was tedious. Streaming or downloading was impossible. The problem was on every device so we know it was the internet connection/bandwidth, not just us. This feels like the sort of thing the hotel ought to be able to sort and it was the only negative about the stay.

LOVED The Prospect Hollywood - I stayed earlier this month with a few coworkers and members of our PR agency as we were in town for an event. It was beautiful, unique and had such character. The courtyard is stunning, and all of the interior design were beautiful. Having a glass of wine in the evening next to the fire was the perfect way to end my days there. The staff is lovely. Very helpful, kind, and accommodating. The food and drinks were perfect - just will say that based on the small staff size, the freshly prepared refreshments take a little bit, which I didn't mind at all, since I was enjoying the lobby while I waited, but just as a heads up that this is a truly boutique experience. The minibar is stocked with great options (and La Colombe canned coffee!) and the shower is filled with Diptyque products which elevated the experience. Will absolutely recommend and visit again the next time work sends me to LA. 

The Prospect is a gem! Walkable to downtown Hollywood, close to Universal Studios, and an oasis in the middle of it all. The staff are great, as are the amenities, appointments, and rooms. I highly recommend it. Just note that it's a little hidden - but it's there, and that's a good thing!
