The room was small, but the overall service was OK. The room was facing the night market and was a bit noisy on the first night, so we moved to another corner with a view on the second night. The hotel is full of design details, but most of them are public spaces. The design of the hotel rooms is average, unless you spend a lot of money to stay in a suite

One point of service is for the front desk. The service in the restaurant on the top floor is very average. There may be too many people and not enough staff, and no one can be found during a meal. Then at the dinner table, halfway through the meal, the lights were turned off, and no one could be found to ask. The price is not cheap, many people from outside the hotel come, the music in the bar is very loud, it closes at twelve o'clock, and you can hear it clearly in the room. In addition, the room is really too small. The aunt who cleaned the door in the morning knocked on the door like a fire and told me to run. I was really surprised why the service was so poor

As a SoCal resident, I decided to take a staycation in downtown LA, and it was 100% worth it! From the moment I arrived, the valet team was friendly and efficient, and the front desk provided exceptional service. The room was spotless, with an atmosphere that was both relaxing and luxurious. The service at both the rooftop and downstairs restaurants was outstanding—the food was delicious, and the staff made each meal feel special. The rooftop pool had great views, adding to the overall experience. If you have an Amex Platinum card, the Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits are totally worth it. This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, and I’m already planning to return regularly for more staycations. Highly recommended!

Many electrical appliances didn’t work in the room and Vallet charges $55 even though it says available for guests.
Super Noisy on Sunday night. Weird Latino type of music has been playing really loud outside of the hotel.
The stuffs were helpful and respectful which is the only things that positive about hotel except the view.

A boutique gem in downtown LA! A very nice combination of traditional old school architecture with the clean contemporary results of a new renovation. The property retains the best of the old and adds terrific new features. Great food and coffee too.
