The host, Ron, was very friendly, very understanding guy. 100% made my experience comfortable. The location is next to Little Tokyo and the (new) Little Tokyo subway station. A lot of good eating areas around Little Tokyo. The sleeping/living area had very poor air conditioning. The bathroom and shower are quite rustic and gross, but that's not something I personally care about. I know other people are sensitive to this, so I will preface that I saw cockroaches in the bathroom. By no means is the toilet disgusting without being cleaned, but rather something you'd find at a bar downtown... Generally speaking though, the experience was good and I will be visiting again in the future. To emphasize, the host, Ron, really made me feel comfortable with being in LA.

No privacy. Entrances are locked with pins and we had to wait outside for an hour till the front desk guy came in to help us out. The living area couch is dirty. No dedicated dining areas. It is 26min walk to downtown.

I arrived late at night but self check in was allowed for the ones who arrive later than 11pm. A bed was comfortable. Shower and toilet were kept clean. Also staff was friendly. I only stayed here for a night but I am willing to visit you when i visit LA again.

Don’t. Stay at this pod at all nothing like what on there web site the house guess smelled really bad took 20 minutes to open the door for us the bathroom is extremely dirty no bathroom tissue not worth what there asking for on any of there sites it’s more like a homeless shelter no AC SUCH BIG LIARS FO APEND YOUR MONEYS AT A BETTER CLEAN HOSTELS

Lumière ouverture, commun peu propre, aspects de l'établissement très négligé.
Pour le prix je pense qu'il doit y avoir beaucoup mieux ailleurs alors n'hésitez pas à chercher même pour qques dollars de plus.

The Downtown Los Angeles PodShare exactly fitted my needs. Within walking distance of Union Station, within my budget, quiet, friendly, safe, clean and comfortable.

I am currently battling for a refund from podshare as I have been hospitalised due to pregnancy complications. Zero empathy from this company. We are so upset, and have enough to deal with not knowing if our child is going to be ok. Despite medical proof they don’t want to hear. Our plan was to reschedule but I can say it won’t be with podshare. So much stress when I really don’t need it. Thank you, podshare

The people in the hostel were kind and kept to themselves. Majority of them were not in the hostel most of the time, making the area quiet. The place is also a 5 min walks away from little Tokyo and shopping spots. So if you’re a fan of Japanese food then this is the perfect spot. Bathrooms were really small and I questioned if they were clean but for the price i think it’s worth it. Bring your own blanket as well. I made the mistake of not bringing one. The blankets they provided reminded me of cheap curtains. They were thin, so I was freezing in the night. Other than that I recommend this place if you’re going to stay for a day. I’d definitely book a hotel if it were more than one.
