Overall, the room is good. It's definitely enough for one person. You can also have a drink in the lobby bar downstairs. The whole building is non-smoking. Just don't go out for a walk at night. The security at the door is also very good. It's also very convenient to go to the Central Market in the back. I mainly go there to watch the Los Angeles Lakers game. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Staples

Nice hotel located in downtown LA, close to grand central market and blue bottle coffee. Decent amenities but room is small. Barely able to open luggage whilst toilet is also pretty small. Overall decent stay overall, but could be better with more amenities like free amenities such as toothpaste and toothbrush, and water in the room.

A budget hotel I always stay at when I'm on a business trip. The environment is young and the design is young. There is a shared workspace. There is a gym and a bar that provides simple meals. I stayed here for 3 nights as a solo traveler.
The room is minimal, so it's fine for 2 people.
It's just 2 stops from Union Station, and conveniently located from the nearest Metro A and D stations. (Union Station has a shuttle bus to the airport and a free shuttle bus to Dodgers Stadium.)
As others have written, the location is near a famous homeless area, so it's fine if you're careful, but it's hard to say the surrounding area is clean.
However, it's very accessible to Dodgers Stadium, and there's a baggage limit, so you can go there with minimal baggage after you've returned home.
More importantly, the downtown area is convenient for night games. It's convenient from the nearest Metro A station, and I had no problem using the subway at night.
Santa Monica and Hollywood are also just a train ride away.
The hotel itself is clean, and I think it's reasonably priced, so I'd like to stay there if I have the chance.
