First off, my husband and I went to Cabo and stayed at the RIU Palace for our 28th wedding anniversary and to celebrate my big 5-0! We did have a great time and really got a lot of relaxation and met a lot of different people. Now as for the hotel.. when we first got there the room was a bit dirty. The shower walls had which looked like soap scum (I hope) the floors felt like I was walking on gritty dirt. I would lay in bed and my feet made the sheets black. The bed had these little bugs in it. Just your typical island bugs nothing gross. But still, gross! It just looks like they rushed to clean it to get us in. The air didn’t work. We called multiple times and they never came up. We had to go down to concierge to complain and they said someone was up there. Well, we go back up no one is there and the air was still not working. They did offer to move us but we had the perfect view. It was a 180 view of the clear blue water the pools and surrounding beach and hotels. It was like picture perfect postcards. They wanted to put us in the first floor where there wasn’t anything close to what we paid for and what we had. To put on top of all this we stayed in a suite. There you would think it would be perfection, nope! Customer service was just ok. Took forever for room service, which was just nasty. Cold soggy sandwiches and burnt cheese nachos. Nasty! No turn downs of your bed or any romantic things in your room at night. Now for the pools, quite a few pools, never felt over crowded. Again, it was the cleanliness of the pools. While we were sitting in the pool they would come in spray this stuff scrub the walls half ass and just left it. Then again, while everyone is in the pool they are taking this dirty skimmer and cleaning the pool with that. Just nasty! I guess when ever I have stayed at a 5+ star hotels we were always treated like prince and princesses. This was total opposite. So used to having employees bending backwards, saying hello or always there to help. We didn’t get any of that. Definitely staying somewhere different next time with better customer service and even better hospitality. I have it 3 stars because of the views that were just ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.

I have stayed here several times and the hotel always meets my expectations. The hotel is very clean by any standards. The included breakfast is a great way to start the day. The price per night is very good. The staff are all helpful and professional. It is close to Cabo and about 25 minutes to San Jose. A short drive to any where. There is currently a good view of the arch and a nice pool area to chill out at on the roof. 3 great restaurants (Mexican, bistro and sushi) all within 100 yards of the lobby. Also a convenience store in the same complex. This hotel is my first pick when staying in the area. I highly recommend it.
Imagine a side of Los Cabos you never knew existed Where the soul willingly surrenders to el sol Where a singular beachfront retreat commands a contour of the cape overlooking El Arco and the Bahia San Lucas horizon From the sleek poolside lounge to the skygarden terrace its a place to revel in the heat of the moment fired by the cuisine of chef Enrique Olvera.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at The Cape for our honeymoon. The views were stunning, the drinks were excellent, and the food was phenomenal. I’ve never felt so refreshed after a trip or so delighted by the wonderful people we met. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast every day, and the variety was fantastic. The pool was a blast, with great food, drinks, and a fun DJ. We had two amazing meals at The Ledge, and were especially impressed by the staff’s knowledge, particularly Jesus and Margarita. Special thanks to Joanna and Michelle at the front desk, who were so helpful in assisting us with everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon experience! Would you like to adjust anything in that?

Beautiful hotel in Cabo but if you plan to go into the city very often, the location can be inconvenient. I recommend renting a car if you stay here. Other than the inconvenience of the location, everything else was amazing. Especially the food at the Nobu restaurant

This is my second time to stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana Resort in Cabo San Lucas. This visit was better then the first stay which I didn’t think could be possible. The facilities are immaculate. The service is outstanding. The Activites Director, Manuel, absolutely made this stay the best. He made every guest laugh and feel as if they were at home. He gregarious personality and non stop love for dancing and life was just wonderful. Wait staff Raul Oliuares was exceptional. He kept the beach goers well served and treated all as his special guest. Thank you, Raul, for your warm welcome and being so attentive to us.

Excellent
GGuest UserNot a 5 star resort. That's not saying it's not a nice resort, because it is, but 5 star resorts have top notch service. First ding, they don't pick you up at the airport, but you can have them set up transportation for you (at your added expense). The Taxi is $75 each way (I checked Uber and it was $55 and the taxi dude matched that price). We were able to catch a travel van on the way there from the airport for $17 a person. We had an ”executive suite” which was nice, not their best room but probably in the middle. They never changed the bed sheets in the entire 5 day/4 night stay. They made the bed, but never changed the sheets. They have a well stocked fridge and other goodies for a steep price. The problem is moving their crap out if you actually want to use the refrigerator. We were charged ”additional taxes” when we checked out as well. Only like $2-3 a day, but these should have been included in the price. The on-site sushi restaurant was not a good value. They charged us for items we didn't order and watch out for the $4.50 water. Our bill was $200 plus tip for two adults. Each had two margaritas, one appetizer (we had cancled after we told the waiter and he acknowledged, but came anyways) and two entrees. Portions were small, so definitely no ”leftovers”. The good. The included breakfast is excellent. Take advantage of that, eat a late breakfast (breakfast is over at noon, so be there no later than 11am) and that should tide you over until dinner. The location is great. Close to the marina/downtown but just far enough way that it's an easy walk and you stay out of that busyness. Overall, it's a nice 4 star (at best) resort.
FFleming JosephIt’s location is a positive factor. Right near the marina with a private beach in the pacific side of the Baja peninsula. Rooms are clean and had all amenities listed. The checkin process is a bit lengthy, you will have to meet the receptionist and the hostess, it could have been shortened. Also while checkout the receptionist mentioned that our prebooked taxi cannot come inside the property to pick us, but finally the driver managed to come-in.
GGuest UserI was not allowed to register at the front desk! I have traveled to many countries and stayed at many luxurious hotels including Mexico. I have never been treated with such disrespect and rudeness on the part of a front desk manager. When asked to explain the policies that she wanted me to sign, without reading, she became increasingly rude and tore the document in half and told us our reservation was canceled and to leave the property. We did so and were left without a place to stay for the night. Luckily we were able to secure a room for the night at a hotel where the front desk was courteous, helpful, and kind.
Of course, with this kind of experience, I would tell anyone never to stay at the Tesoro Los Cabos hotel. I am requesting a full refund from Trip.com and an apology from from Tesoro Los Cabos Hotel.
GGuest UserThis place is beautiful, 35min-1hr from the airport 30min to Cabo San Lucas. When we arrived they told us we were in a lower level room than we paid for but we’re “upgrading us for free” to the room we had actually poked to begin with. This is a resort plow I have always found to be a turn off right at check in. The staff including Rafa at aqua were fun, funny, and friendly. Glad to share knowledge and help learn Spanish terms. The room was absolutely stunning and had everything that was listed in the advertisements. We try not to stay at the same resort twice as we like to experience variety. This resort may be an exception
GGuest UserHampton inn was advertising the hotel like it had a swimming pool but guess what the pool is under reinnovation so there was no pool for my Christmas holiday. Had I known this in advance I would have booked another hotel. The hotel was okay and a good value for the money with the pool but without a pool it's just a hotel in the middle of nowhere without any amenities. I couldn't even really tell I was by the beach because I had a mountain view because I had a mountain view because I had a mountain view. There was no way to really look at the ocean because of course there was no pool and breakfast was monotonous the same thing every single day no variance no difference and basically know meat I would say it was a very substandard breakfast and unappetizing and not really hot. Only canned juices and no decaffeinated coffee. I would not stay here again without a pool. And be careful when you get a room because some of the rooms are moldy and the ice machine are broken on every floor except for in the main lobby. This hotel needs a little money pumped into it and the pool restored to working order. The two queen bedroom was roomy put with no pool I didn't really enjoy my experience. Staff was professional but I'm sure they're tired of hearing people complain about the fact that a hotel that advertises a pool doesn't actually have a pool that functions. The daily fruit options were not exactly what I would call fresh either a little rancid. The attached pictures are of the broken ice machine signs the less than fresh fruit, and the sealed off entrance to the pool.
We stayed at the Bahia for a long weekend with family and friends celebrating a birthday. The rooms in the Bahia were very clean. The staff would clean and restock our water and snacks a couple times per day. The food at the restaurant (shout out to Sandy) was great and drinks at the pool bar (shout our to the best guy, Valentine) were outstanding. Most importantly, the staff, front desk and concierge were incredible. They knew all our names and room numbers and were checking on us daily to make sure we had dinner reservations each night and if we needed help with transportation. We truly felt taken care of our entire stay and would highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is directly at the airport with a free shuttle service that takes about five minutes in total. The hotel does what it was built for, giving you a place for the night close to the airport. Book in advance and online via resellers. Looked like local price was much higher.
When it comes to check-in, it starts exactly 3pm — not a single minute before. Then there’s a rush and the clerk is overloaded for some time while others at the front desk only looking around.
Breakfast, well… that was really poor.
But all in all the stay was good.
GGuest UserOur stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short.
The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way.
We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience.
The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity.
Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience.
Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room.
Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much.
In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo.
GGuest UserWe were welcomed by the bellboys at the front entrance. Upon arrival, it was an easy 10 minutes to check-in, and were in our room and off to the pool within 30 minutes. The pool was nice and nothing to do with the hotel, but the pool was hot due to the weather being almost 90 degrees and sunny. The service at the pool was great, the workers have such a great attitude and are always willing to help. There is a 2nd pool overlooking the marina with spectacular views of the mountains, water, and yachts along the marina walkway. It is located within 5 minutes of downtown with tons of restaurants, shops, and music from all the nightclubs, as well as live music at some of the outdoor venues. It's very busy on the weekends and less crowded during the week. The hotel offers an all-inclusive package, however, we did not purchase it, but did have breakfast the last day and it was $20.00 USD per person. Overall, a great hotel, and we can't wait to go back !
AAnonymous UserThe staff were particularly helpful and super friendly at all times, so that made up for okay amenities (the pool was a bit cold at night and harder to go for a quick swim but we managed). We did love the beds, they were incredibly comfy and the room we got was quiet so we were able to have a restful sleep. The breakfast was okay but I would have loved some veggies that they apparently had at some point, yet never brought back out again. The coffee was pretty solid though, so that was a plus. Lastly, the location was gold-walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and places to book tours. Overall, it fulfilled its purpose for our two-night stay :).
