The hotel is located in a great area, Whiskey Row, lots of bars, restaurants and the Louisville Slugger factory all within walking distance. Courtney at the front desk was super friendly and gave us some coupons for local spots to try. The hotel is a little dated and parking is a bit pricey but overall it was fine. Like others have mentioned, the hotel is on a main road so traffic noise is a bit much, however they provide a white noise machine which worked great (I’m buying one for home it was that good).

The hotel was in fine enough condition for me, albeit quite dated. The bed was comfortable and everything worked the way it should. My room had a balcony overlooking Main St. Not a great view (Yum center takes up most of it) and the sliding glass door was filthy. I’m a pretty light sleeper but the noise of the vehicles wasn’t enough to keep me up at night but it can be quite loud - I imagine a busier weekend with bar crawlers could have been worse. They also had ear plugs on the night stand which was thoughtful.

We stayed here over Derby weekend and paid almost $2000/night for the absolute worst hotel stay. We switched from a suite to a small room trying to get away from the street noise but all rooms have extremely loud sounds which make it impossible to sleep. The hotel has old windows and is close tot the bridge. When we told this to the management they didn’t care and refused to do anything. They encouraged us to write this review. Pathetic!

Charged me $25 a night for parking which was not in my agreement. Elevators in the parking garage were not working. Had to go up and down the stairs for everything.

I pre paid for breakfast (in my reservations) and they gave me a voucher with instructions to order the meal at the local Starbucks. I did exactly what was on the voucher and I was still charged for breakfast. Unprepared service and unfair and disrespectful billing. I will never return to this hotel
