Booked Room 8888, Golden Summit View A. The view was magnificent, with the Golden Summit literally right outside our balcony. Hotel amenities were perfectly adequate. It gets crowded during the day. A great tip is to wake up early the next morning for the sunrise. Once the sunrise crowds disperse, and before the main influx of tourists reaches areas like Laojun Temple, Daode Mansion, Golden Summit, and Yuanbao Terrace, you'll have these spots almost to yourself, enjoying the beautiful scenery in peace. Twice a day, at 10 AM and 3 PM, hotel staff lead guests from Zidao Academy (at the scenic area entrance) to the cable car station via electric shuttle. From there, you can utilize a VIP lane (bypassing extensive queues) to take the express first-stage cable car up to Zhongtianmen. After a short walk, another VIP lane (again, avoiding long waits) grants access to the second-stage cable car, which brings you to the entrance of the Ten-Mile Gallery. I recommend taking the outer route – it offers excellent views and takes about 30 minutes – leading you directly to the cluster of Taoist temples. **Important Tips:** 1. Be aware that you'll need to carry your own luggage. While hotel staff can arrange assistance, they charge a fee (a few hundred yuan) based on size and weight. My advice: either pack light or be prepared to pay to have your bags transported. It's much more enjoyable to explore hands-free. 2. I highly recommend purchasing the all-inclusive package, which covers accommodation, entrance tickets, and cable car passes. It genuinely saves a lot of hassle. 3. For the descent, you'll need to walk. I suggest starting your trek in the morning when the paths are less crowded, making for a more pleasant walk, and you'll avoid queues for the cable car. Once you reach Parking Lot 13, there's an electric shuttle bus; remember to tell them your hotel name, otherwise you'll have to purchase a ticket. 4. Given the limited resources on the mountain, the hotel's dining options are quite basic and not particularly varied – just enough to get by. However, you'll find Luckin Coffee and KFC for coffee, a few bubble tea shops (such as Mixue Ice Cream & Tea and Cha Ji), and some small convenience stores for snacks and essentials.

Renovated in 2023, the Orchid in a secluded valley (Zhongling cableway store is a great choice for accommodation in Luanchuan. Seeing Luanchuan's sights from this hotel is easy with Laozi Cultural Garden, Glass Slide - Next Station and Old Dragon's Den all close by. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Luanchuan hotel features parking on site. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city.

Laojun Mountain isn't far, and the front desk thoughtfully provided a prayer plaque and raincoats (I suggest replacing them with better quality ones; am I being too demanding? lol). The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is superb. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fried dough sticks with spicy soup 👍. The room was spacious, accommodating four people, and even had an automatic mahjong machine. The service from the guest rooms, front desk, and the parking attendant was excellent. I stayed for two nights; Laojun Mountain is definitely worth a visit! The hotel was also cheaper during off-peak travel. It's especially worthwhile; Luanchuan is worth a visit ☠️ and a few days' stay. There's a Sichuan restaurant in the alley to the right of the hotel; it's always crowded and the food is delicious.

This B&B is a truly exceptional experience: the navigation system takes you directly to the destination without taking a detour, and there's dedicated parking for those driving. The cable car is a 10-minute walk away, saving time and making it a pleasant experience. If you're not driving, the host will even pick you up from the entrance to the B&B. Very thoughtful. Before check-in, the host proactively provides a super detailed itinerary, covering must-see attractions. During check-in, the host responds instantly to any requests, including missing items and location questions. Raincoats are also provided for the rainy hike, much better than the ones we brought with us. The home-cooked meals are a highlight. Breakfast is fragrant corn grits porridge with freshly scrambled eggs and cabbage, and the eggs are even poached. For dinner, we pre-ordered braised free-range chicken with seasonal garden vegetables. Every bite was filled with the flavors of home, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay.

The Laojun Mountain Huayang · Yunhai Homestay is located in the 5A level scenic area of Laojun Mountain, adjacent to the Zhongling Cableway. You need to purchase a ticket to the scenic area before entering (the ticket is valid for 48 hours). It only has excellent natural scenery, surrounded on all sides, and the scenery is at your doorstep.The homestay has a total of 17 guest rooms, with the smallest room measuring 30 square meters.
