The water temperature of the shower is not very hot and the water pressure is relatively low. This is the only drawback. Everything else is great. The room is well decorated with Laotian characteristics. Slippers are required when entering the door, and the whole house is very clean. The GM and several employees are very friendly. Although the breakfast is not as rich as that of star hotels, the taste of several Laotian breakfasts is very good, and the Western breakfast is also delicious.

What a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants.
Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed.
Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor.
Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required.
There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.

Un superbe petit hôtel, aussi confortable que luxueux: la déco est magnifique, très travaillée. Le lit est très confortable. Les produits (douche et shampooing) utilisés pour la salle de bain sont bio et locaux. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. La localisation est très bien, dans une petite rue calme proche du night market à pieds. Enfin l’équipe est aux petits soins et offre un réel accueil personnalisé.

The perfect small hotel with the best manager ever! Phout not only responded to all our family’s needs but thought of things that I hadn’t! The rooms are so stylish and we loved the breakfast menu too. Nothing was too much trouble. Can’t recommend more highly.

J ai passé un séjour fantastique à Baan Pila. Tout était parfait. Cet endroit est juste magnifique et vraiment très agréable. J’ai adoré la décoration unique et l’atmosphère qui se dégage de cet endroit. Le personnel était aux petits soins. Je ne peux que recommander de s’y arrêter si vous voyagez à luang Prabang. Je reviendrais

Bright and clean, big spacious rooms, great food and friendly staff. Great location in Luang Prabang, not in the thick of it but close enough to walk or bike. Bicycles available for use for free which really helped get into town. Highly recommend Baan Pila!

This hotel was absolutely FANTASTIC! The staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel, grounds and room immaculately clean. My room was large and had a separate sitting/eating area and the breakfast included was delicious. As an added bonus they had a pool and a beautiful outdoor area to relax and take a break from the heat. Perfect location close to major sites and the night market and great value for the money. They even had free bicycle rentals. I would 100% stay there again.

1st stay in a B&B/guest house, and it far exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and the quality of bed and bathroom linens was good. They really thought of everything you might need. The lady manager was excellent, (as well as the rest of the staff, and owners) very helpful and professional. The included breakfast was very good, and a lot of the items were homemade. We found the location good, easy walking distance to restaurants etc. The rate was good value for money and would recommend Baan Pila.
