In general the hotel is very good, front staffs were helpful & friendly. Breakfast service staffs can improve with a bit of smile. Baguettes & croissant were very good but sadly we needed to spread with margarine & below average jam .

There are few reviews for this hotel. I stayed here for a week and will give you a more comprehensive introduction. First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. It is between the Mekong River and Nam Khan River, with major attractions such as the Royal Palace and Xiengthong Temple in front and behind. The structure of the house is okay. I wonder if this is a common practice here. The hotel is not as fancy as in China and has many room types. Even if the room types are different, the pricing will not be different. The room decoration is relatively refreshing, the room size is relatively compact, and the hygienic condition is good. However, the quality of consumables such as toothbrushes and toilet paper used in the room is relatively low. There is no problem with hot water in the shower, but there is no hot water in the basin. I don't know how it is in other hotels. The attitude of the staff is pretty good, but some female employees continue to look at their phones without saying hello to customers, which seems to be a lack of training. The front desk couldn't communicate in Chinese well, so I managed to cope with it with the help of a translator. Fortunately, there weren't many people who needed to communicate while staying in the hotel. Breakfast was futile, the same every day. Two days before I stayed, there were Chinese families living on the same floor with their children. The door was often closed due to the commotion. This strange hotel was a bit reluctant. By the way, tourists should also pay attention to their own image and work together to maintain quiet in public places. I don’t know what activities there were in the next two days, but it didn’t get quiet until midnight.
Generally speaking, most of the hotels in Luang Prabang’s old town are old houses and B&Bs. The location advantage and basic facilities of this hotel are pretty good, so the business is still good. There are also many other B&Bs nearby. My bus ticket for the return trip from Luang Prabang to the train station was booked from other B&Bs. It cost 50,000 kip per person, which was relatively affordable. However, the hotel contacted asked for a chartered bus ticket of 300,000 kip. In my opinion, it can only be regarded as average in terms of comprehensive cost performance. For your reference.

The location is good, near the main road, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is great. The room seemed a bit small and I felt a little stuffy after staying there for two days.

Clean room, fluffy pillows and clean bedsheet, not smelly. Smart TV in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good. I had the same American breakfast for 3 days. Most importantly, the hotel is located conveniently in the tourist center area. Walking distance to the morning and night market, Phousy Hill, Museum, and rows of shop houses and restaurants. Will definitely recommend D'oR boutique hotel.

Ideally located on a walkway just off the main strip and nearby the Mekong River, this modern French colonial style hotel is great value for money! Greatly appreciated the manager, Noy, for his generous and capable assistance to his guests.

I tavoli sono all’aperto. Tanti galli che “cantano” nei dintorni… Personale gentile , buona la pulizia.
