it is a very beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden view. i enjoy my stay here. also all my family members. the hotel has many friendly staff and especially my thanks to mr. Te vard nouding leng. we will definately come back and choose the hotel again! they also help us book the tour and reserve the restraurant. thank ypu for everything. we recommend our friends to choose this too!

We are very happy with our stay at the Sofitel of Luang Prabang, very warm welcome from the arrival until our departure. This is a very quiet and relaxing hotel with plenty of serene atmosphere, which we were looking forward to get during our stay. As it is a bit out of the city center with 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes by tuktuk, they do offer free shuttles from 6pm to 9:30pm to town or back. Courteous staff, helpful and friendly people. Breakfast is simple, not gargantuan, sufficient enough, they offer free 5 minutes massage when you arrive for breakfast if you desire to have one… The pool and garden are beautiful and well maintained. All in all, good values and good vibes from this place, we will return and recommend it to our friends to go.

Our stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points. Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating. However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do. Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards. Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space. We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.

It is indeed quite small. I only stayed for one night. The service attitude is good, but there are not many pick-up cars, and there is no free train pick-up or the like.

It is a luxury hotel in Luang Prabang. It is small and has few people. The hotel is very nice and has rabbits that children like. The only regret is that I didn't ride the hotel's free bicycles.

Very good, warm and thoughtful service, full of holiday feeling, beautiful yard, cute bunnies, swimming pool is also good, children like it very much, will come again next time. It would be better if the breakfast was richer 😁

The hotel is very nice and quiet, with a good environment and large rooms. There are also free bicycles to ride, but it was too sunny there, so we rented a motorcycle. The hotel breakfast is all ordered, which is quite rich. You can basically order whatever you want and the taste is very good. It's just that the waiter is always selling, which is a bit unbearable. He either sells the Laotian dishes under their hotel or the hotel's massage projects, and also uses the hotel's cars, but they are all very expensive. I ate the Laotian dishes he recommended once. The taste and environment are nothing to say, but the taste feels average. But overall it is still worth staying and recommended!

Came from 3nagas, free shuttle, welcome ceremony upon arrival. I have to say that although it is the smallest Sofitel in the world, with only 25 rooms, it is the most beautiful hotel I have visited in Laos. There are too many good hotels in Luang Prabang, I will come to experience Amman when I have money in the future There were no other Chinese guests on the day of check-in, all were foreigners. Although the hotel is not big, it can be experienced as a tourist attraction.

During the five-day, four-night trip to Luang Prabang, we stayed at the 3 Nagas's beautiful pavilion and the quiet and chic Sofitel. 🏨 First, 3 Nagas, which is in an extremely advantageous location, is within a 10-minute walk to the night market, the royal palace and major temples. Their desserts are truly special, highly recommended! 🍰 Then came Sofitel. The French colonial architectural style of this hotel is a landscape in itself. The rooms are extremely cost-effective. The private courtyard and hot spring pool maximize privacy and relaxation, making it very suitable for a leisurely vacation. There are also two cute rabbits running freely in the hotel, adding a lot of fun. 🐰Before leaving, I tried a 10-minute free massage, which was precise, but I was a little disappointed that I didn't get a full-body massage. The breakfasts in both hotels were very rich, thanks to Keilli and his team for their thoughtful service. In addition, because they are also affiliated with the Agonda Hotel Group, there are free shuttles and bicycles available between hotels. In short, whether it is a city walk or enjoying tranquility, these two are excellent choices! 🍽️
