Great location, very private and quiet area. Room simple but bed comfortable, bathroom clean, and excellent air conditioning. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Vi ble møtt av et meget hyggelig personale som kunne sjekke oss inn ekstra tidlig. Rommet var også blitt oppgradert fra den delen av hotellet som har to stjerner til den delen som har tre- fordi de hadde ledig kapasitet. Rommet var over all forventning. Fin utsikt mot nabolaget, helt stille og rolig. Overraskende god frokost i en koselig liten frokost-restaurant. Det var også mulig å sitte ute. Strålende beliggenhet med kort vei til alt i gamlebyen i Lucca. Gåavstand til tog/buss-stasjon. Anbefales virkelig!

The rooms are not very soundproofed so you will other guests. Very hospitable staff and speak good English. Breakfast was good.

The Hotel Diana, is a clean, no thrills but lovely hotel. The staff are so accommodating and helpful! I often stay here as it's right next to the Duomo San Martino and so close to everything. the rooms are quite quirky with various colours which adds to the experience.

This is a lovely hotel with incredible staff and a delicious breakfast spread right in the heart of Lucca - I would go back in a heartbeat. I somehow forgot my money belt, which also included my passport (!), at the hotel when we checked out. I only realized this when our tour leader got a call on the train to our next location. After my heart attack subsided, my husband and I took the train back and the money belt was safely at the hotel front desk, intact - and the lovely staff also called a long distance taxi for us to meet up with our group again in time for our next activity. This was just the cherry on the sundae - we loved the hotel’s front terrace, lovely breakfast room, quiet sleeping accommodations with lots of space, and walkability. We’ll be back!
