Es hat einen schönen Garten mit einem Pool und Liegestühle mit Sonnenschirmen. Ab 16h öffnet dort die Bar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und es wird sehr guter Kaffee im Frühstücksraum serviert. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr gross aber gemütlich und neu renoviert.

Hotel au Lac was fabulous. Perfect location, close to everything. Clean. Happy and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. We booked 5 rooms for a family reunion, and had the best long weekend. A combo of panorama rooms with great head-on views of the lake, a lateral view room, which had a view if you step out, and a single studio lake view room that was adorable. There’s a beautiful lounge area on the second floor with free coffee bar and an honesty service for all other drinks with a variety of choices for wine and beer. The terrace and pool are lovely, and we happened to meet the owner of the hotel, which was started by his great grandfather and has stayed in the family all these generations. It’s truly a remarkable hotel that has everything you could ask for!!! We can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

Great location, friendly staff and kids loved the play area and pool. The hotel is very charming. A few things could be better. They don’t provide shampoo in the room or coffee. There is an expresso machine in the bar area which is available to guests, but they oddly lock in all morning when you might want it. The breakfast is fine but not as many choices as we normally find at nice hotels.

What a great hotel and located perfectly in Lugano! Not to mention across from Louis Vuitton isn't too shabby either! The view of the lake is gorgeous. It has a really nice back patio with games, lots of space to relax and a beautiful pool area. The front balcony to enjoy a cocktail and people watch is so fun. The breakfast buffet is great and the people that work there are so helpful and nice. I enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again when in Lugano. I hope I will be back because we loved Lugano!!!

This hotel manages to have old-school charm and attention to the past without feeling too dated. It has been run by the same family for generations and they clearly care about art and hospitality. Our stay there was delightful and the friendly and accommodating staff tolerated our boisterous kids. There is also an outdoor space in back with toys, an oversized chess set, fusbal, ping pong, and a small pool. The pillows and duvets were unexpectedly fabulous and fluffy. Book a room with souring ceilings facing the lake and just chill. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

This is a beautiful, old hotel across from the lake and close to shopping and dining. Our room was very comfortable. They also offered a nice breakfast buffet and had an "Honesty Bar" where you could get drinks, ice and water. I would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Lugano.

We enjoyed staying at International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel. It is a good mix of old-style hotel with antiques with modern conveniences and upgraded rooms. The location is very convenient at the lakeside end of Lugano’s upscale shopping street (Via Nessa) and just a short walk to the main square Piazza Riforma and lakeside Promenade. The breakfast is very nice served in an elegant room with efficient wait staff. They give you a Ticino Ticket to use for free transportation and discounts on some attractions. The bathtub is wonderful for a soak after a day of exploring. The staff is helpful answering questions to make your stay in Lugano enjoyable. There is good Internet and a nice pool and beautiful garden area for getting some sun. Families with kids will enjoy the play area.
