Atlantic View Motel

This is the worst Motel ever!! Way overpriced at $279..54. The bathroom is the tiniest we've ever seen. The Cable/Dish (whatever) is terrible, only a few channels, 1 Canadian Network & no American ones!! Ocean view is obstructed by trees. Scatter mats are very dangerous (loose & moving about) Corners of bed were protruding & we bumped them many times, until we folded up the mats & covered up the corners with them. No Microwave! At that price, breakfast should have been included. 5 days previous, we stayed at the Rodd Royalty in Charlottetown, ( due to a car breakdown) & it cost us $300.00. That included a superb breakfast & luxurious accommodations. After traveling to Florida for 37 years, 5 days, each way, we've stayed in a lot of hotels, & we can honestly say that this Motel is the worst we've ever been in! It's proximity to Lunenburg is it's only redeeming quality!! James & Leslie Dodd

The location is fantastic. The place is what you expect from a motel. We stayed in a cottage and it acted like the base we needed to keep our stuff and sleep. Don’t plan to hang out here much. While the cottages have a nice porch and there is beach access, the beach isn’t a sandy beach you layout on and the cottages are pretty small. Overall, they are very nice. Cute, well maintained, and in a nice area. There’s lots of wildlife to see around and still a quick drive into town.

We stayed in Lily Pond cottage which I think is the largest. The cottage was as described. It is not luxury but it is a lovely cottage close to the sea and with wild area behind. Clean your teeth whilst looking at a deer looking at you. It is close to Lunenburg and it's amenities yet it is very quiet. The cottage is functional though some of the equipment like plastic plates could be improved. All in all a very pleasant few days in a cosy cottage, would we go again yes.

This property exceeded expectations! The setting is gorgeous- Atlantic Ocean out the front window a pond out the back window! The scenery and location are perfect. Our room was exceptionally clean!! Such nice owners/staff! A must stay!

Stayed in Sea Breeze cottage. It was nice and a short drive to Lunenburg. However, the owner is unpleasant and needs to learn customer service skills-the only lodging in Nova Scotia where we experienced this. He is not in office during office hours but is working at his house outside on his house projects. His demeanor is unpleasant and unhelpful. No paddleboat (very old looking) to use because water level at lake is too low which seems to have been the case for years-website needs to be updated. "Cottages include an unobstructed view of ocean" is not accurate either-cottages have a large front lawn and then across the street is an obstructed view with trees and bushes. Bathroom sink is very tiny. Lunenburg is a must-stop on your Nova Scotia visit.

Clean and cute! Close to downtown, amazing view

Bed matresses were like thin mats . The whole room was a dorm room . Bed had slats box springs . All hotel/ motel/ Air b n b are selling is clean and mattress I wouldn’t suggest this one get new mattresses

Our cottage was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had amazing waterfront views. In our case, we seemed to have an issue where the electrical outlet on one side of the bed was unreliable. We resolved it by using a different one to charge the cellphone.
