Youleju Homestay (Luoyi Ancient City Lijing Store)

The location is superb, local restaurants and supermarket just outside the complex. And a few walks away from the Luoyi Old Town. Not too far from the Longmen Railway Station, so saves on the taxi/Didi. Another was the washer and dryer combo, very helpful. Generally clean, and has very good AC. Staff members are very easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

The lady contacted me before arrival and added me on WeChat for organising the check-in. The place is near the tourist attractions, however the location was difficult to find. In the night I found myself with the taxi driver and another person who were trying to help me to find the place because location on the map was wrong. They kindly made a phone call to the lady to open the door. The people here are nice but I did not feel very welcome. Probably it’s the culture and they are not used to give advices on places to see, places to eat. For the whole trip in china I did not have internet and I could not search anything because my searching portals are blocked in china. As a result, I did not enjoy my stay and I went to Kaifeng on the following day. In the street there is a bad smell of pee. It is not the owner’s fault however, it made me think that the area was not the best. The room was very nice with everything you could need. Please note that this is my experience as a foreigner, which things are not easy, because no one speak English. It would be nice to have “help” from the people where one book.
