Let me talk about the guy in the store first. He is super nice. Since we were driving, we chose a hotel in the ancient city, which was not easy to park. The front desk reserved a parking space in advance, and the guy was waiting on the roadside to take us to park the car. Great ๐๐๐, the hotel environment is quaint, clean and tidy, and the key is that it is very convenient to go out for food, drink and fun. They also gave me a gift when I checked out. I was very happy. It was a great experience. I will choose this store again when I travel next time!

hotel owner and service people are very nice. They got washer machine onsite if you stay for a few days. they deliver the food to your room too. The location is close to the old city: across the street, around 5 min walking. Very nice hotel with advanced new tech electric panel. Right now, China gov. has rule: any hotels can accept the foreigners. They will scan your passports and send over to the gov. authority for backup. That is all.

Good location, plenty of places to eat , shopping etc all within walking distance (5-15 minutes ) the staff were friendly , the rooms clean , the gym was better than expected also. The lobby has a small coffee shop (just as god as Starbucks but cheaper ). I didnโt try the food at the hotel but plenty of good local restaurants nearby

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The service from the staff is top class and so good. They really look after their guests here and are very well trained, We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in our travels and couldn't recommend this one more, this is seriously another level. The supplies and condiments offered in the room is very comprehensive and complete. They offer order fruits and snacks at any time. They will even open the gym for you if you want to use it when it is closed. Too many examples of great customer service to write

Mercure Luoyang Government Hotel is the best choice for travel accommodation. The hotel is not far from the museum and Longmen Grottoes, and there are many restaurants and shopping malls around. Special thanks to the handsome front desk guy Xiao Wu for helping us two old people solve the difficulties๐. The hotel has ample parking spaces and the breakfast is the richest one we have ever stayed in Huazhu Mercure.

GGuest UserFive of us came to Luoyang to play. We happened to see that this room type could accommodate 5 people and the location was quite suitable, so we decided on it.
The room matches the picture, I'm quite satisfied with it. There are two large beds, one can sleep 3 people, and the other can sleep 2 people without being crowded.
The room is quite large and the environment is very clean. I am very satisfied with my stay.
Because it is this room type, it is not in the location located. It is best to contact us in advance to confirm where the location is.
There are a lot of places to eat nearby. There are hot pots and so on in Baolong Plaza. There are also many restaurants on the streets nearby.

CCulturalKeysThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

JJosh_mnWe had a great experience staying in the room type with two large beds and one bunker bed. We booked this room kinda expecting the bunker bed to excite our 4 and 7 yo and it definitely proved so. Room is clean, AC is great. The breakfast (made free with a trip.com promotion) is quite a treat. Even some might prefer hot coffee but honestly I cannot complain much with the offer of a hard boiled egg, two potstickers, one pcs of corn, millet congee, etc. The staffs are all responsive and ready to help with request like additional towels/bottled water/breakfast food. The owners had a friendly puppy called โfanfanโon site too. At the end of our trip one of the co-owners used his motorcycles to carry a heavy suitcase to the place we booked our taxi and as we can see they ride people to metro station as well. The location is just a short (maybe 100m) walk from the South Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. We took a night walking into Luoyi Ancient City from the north gate after eating dinner in one of the busiest places known for its street food and getting out of South Gate knowing the hotel is just minutes away. Would definitely recommend this one to others who want to stay near Luoyi Ancient City area.

Even though this was not a chain hostel like the ones Iโve stayed before, they had all the facilities you can expect from one (pool tables, seats, couches and a huge space to watch movies with a proyector; plus bar and coffee services). Not to mention spotless (all clean at all times)
The owner and girls from reception were amazing and helped me out with every question I had, always so welcoming and accommodating that I ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights. The town is great, so many things to see that I would recommend this place to have the best stay in Luoyang

LLiVivianI really enjoyed the large, non-smoking room I was given, and they even moved me to a quieter location overlooking the garden. When I checked in, they also gave me a protective sleeve for my card, which was very kind of them. Throughout my stay, I felt like I was given items I didn't know I needed or didn't expect, ex. slippers for the shower, a portable stand for my phone. So at one level, the service was amazing. However, at the same time, there were elements that felt a little off--when I asked for another bed cover, I was basically told by one of the staff that I didn't need it (?), and although on the whole the staff was very nice and polite, there were times when I felt slightly made light of. I wondered if it was in part because of my travelling solo as a woman. I'm thinking about what it means to present myself, if there's something more that needs to be done. Of course, respect is earned, but I'm just reflecting here.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the location was rather convenient as well, just was a bit noisy before I was moved.

The location is easy to find, just inside the city wall, there is no elevator, the room is not big, the washbasin is also very small, there is no place to put glasses and watches, it is recommended to install a shelf on the wall for simple storage, the indoor table is also very small, not enough to put things. The view outside the window is amazing, and the window is the Lijing door. The sound insulation effect is not bad, the price is moderate, Sprite, Coke, and mineral water are free to drink at the front desk, there is also a kitten house at the door, the two little cuties are very lively, the corridor design is also very comfortable, and the nearby catering and transportation are very convenient. Among the hotels in this location, it should be considered relatively good, recommended!

JJinghengshouhuIt is worthy of the famous Dongshan Hotel, which is rated 5 stars. The hotel location and service are completely worthy of the 5-star standard. Although the hotel rooms are old and a little outdated, they are maintained and cleaned very cleanly, which does not affect the stay experience at all! The hotel is in Dongshan, separated from the Xishan Grottoes by the Yique River. It is recommended to stay in Dongshan for one night when traveling to Longmen Grottoes. You can get a good rest, and it will not delay the second visit to Longmen the next morning. We visited it twice, which is worth it! The hotel has a special battery car for pick-up, which is very considerate! The room type was upgraded when we arrived at the store. In short, I strongly recommend everyone to stay. Only when you experience the service and superior location of Dongshan Hotel in person can you feel the goodness of Dongshan Hotel!

Cons:
1) our rooms weren't ready for check in when we arrived even though their check-in time is advertised as noon (but it's because their checkout time is at 2pm, so if the previous guest hasn't checked out before noon, it is impossible to get your room at noon); but they can store your luggage for you at the front desk so it is a minor problem if you don't need a room right away
2) there was construction work at the front entrance of the hotel, so we had to walk through a bunch of debris and loud noises; this shouldn't be a problem once the construction work is done, but it was still a surprise for me
Overall, the place is great for the price, location, and service.

GGuest UserEnvironment: It should be a renovation of a self-occupied building. You can probably imagine the general environment. I have lived in better places than this, and of course I have also lived in worse ones. I can only say that it is okay.
Service: The boss and the landlady are very enthusiastic.
Surroundings: There is a school opposite, and there are many restaurants nearby. It is two or three kilometers away from the ancient city of Luoyi. The surrounding area is very quiet at night, with almost no people.

AAnh-BaoGreat bargain given how insanely big the rooms are. I booked a room with queenside bed, bathroom, sink, shower AND bathtub but I was also shown two family rooms that have multiple beds and even living rooms. They were also super affordable.
The hotel has no restaurant so you cannot have breakfast there. However - plenty of restaurants are within a 5 minute radius. There is also a supermarket and a couple convenience stores within 3 minute radius.
The rooms and public areas are kept pretty clean. However - the various areas are in different states. The reception looks like it could need a renovation yesterday. The hallways leading to the rooms look pretty new while some of the rooms (e.g. family rooms) look pretty fresh while my room looked like it is close to being in need of a bathroom renovation. However - it was clean and still in good enough shape and in terms of pricing it was an absolute bargain. I paid way more for much worse in places like Shantou or Paris.
Would I stay there again? If price levels remain the same I would absolutely stay there again. Very nice staff.
