What a wonderful experience staying with Shannon and Joe. We loved every part of your hospitality. Your friendly recommendations were invaluable to our stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful. Your afternoon snacks gave us something to look forward to at the end of a day of hiking. The "Mariner" room was lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains. We enjoyed the large shower and beautifully finished bathroom. Also a hit was the front porch with its' comfortable furniture and wildlife. We can't wait to come back in the fall!

Amazing hosts and a great B&B. Truly exceptional hospitality. By the way, I’m that person that never leaves reviews, but after our recent stay, I cannot stop thinking about what a great experience we had. Shannon and Joe have created a beautiful home and the breakfasts, as well as afternoon snacks, are incredible. They truly understand great service and the home is impeccable. You must go!

This was our first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. Wow! Shannon and Joe have set the bar high for future stays in B and B in other destinations. We could tell from the start that they have a true love of their place and want to treat their guests with first class customer service. The breakfast was truly amazing. We will be back.

There is an old Sanskrit saying – ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ : The "guest is equivalent to God". During our stay, Joe and Shannon went the extra mile to ensure that me and other guests like me were comfortable and well. Each smile, each greeting, each service radiated sincerity. An experience that is quite rare to see in the hospitality industry in this day and age. I guess as Army Veterans they taught us a LESSON in human relationship - You are not a GUEST but FAMILY. Joe and Shannon it is in the smile that touched us when we were greeted in the morning, during the day and also during the delicious veg Bfast. It is the warmth which i will carry back recommending a Cabernet Franc that was served as a welcome drink and recommending some of the best places to visit and we getting a discount since you are members. We have never been in this area and had 5 nights between two work trips to DC for my husband. This place was fantastic! And Shannon and Joe are the best hosts. Shannon is an incredible cook and baker and makes a gourmet 3 course breakfast every morning. Joe serves all of her amazing dishes and is so personable and fun, easy to talk to, just like Shannon. She also puts out a “snack” around 4:00 which is always a real treat. The house itself is beautifully furnished and comfy. They gave us great local dinner and activity recommendations which we thoroughly enjoyed. Joe and Shannon are Army vets. I love they made it home safely and are living out their American Dream.

I am generally not a Bed and Breakfast kind of person, however, the experience at South Court Inn changed my perspective. My wife and I had such a good time thanks to our special hosts Shannon and Joe. We felt spoiled by the exceptional three course breakfasts prepared by Shannon, who is an amazing cook and baker. This veteran couple shared their knowledge of the area, The Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, restaurants and activities. When we returned from our day out there was the delicious afternoon treat waiting for us. The bed was comfortable and the Victorian style home was impeccably decorated and furnished. It was a wonderful 5 nights-did I mention the breakfasts. Such a relaxing time. We will return at some point, maybe to see the Fall Colors.

I just spent a lovely couple of days at the South Court Inn B&B. The accommodations are top notch and the afternoon snacks and morning breakfasts are wonderful. If you want to feel incredibly pampered, this is the place. Innkeepers Shannon and Joe are delightful and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The breakfastThey have so much information to share about the local attractions. The Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. The Luray Caverns are quite close by and the entrance to the Shenandoah National Park is an easy drive. I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to the area.
