We stayed four days in Orchard room. It was spotless, with very comfortable bed, excellent linens and towels, plus new bathroom with a large tub and 2-person shower. Robes, in- room fridge, fresh flowers , and bottled water were a few extras

We booked an overnight stay with 5 course dinner and the whole experience was wonderful. We were greeted on arrival by Edele ( who owns & runs the business along with her husband Alessio) and were given a quick history of the house and how they acquired it. We were then shown to our lovely ensuite bedroom with everything top notch with some lovely subtle touches and a most comfortable bed. We availed of the 5 course tasting dinner and each course was exceptional with Edele explaining the ingredients in each dish. It was a lovely relaxing evening in beautiful surroundings. What really stood out for us most was the warmth of the welcome and the huge pride and commitment that Adele and Alessio displayed in making Blackwell House a unique 5 star offering. We booked the afternoon tea event part of the Armagh Food & Cider Weekend @ Blackwell House for a special birthday celebration for our mum and it did not disappoint! Adele & Alissa & all the staff welcomed us individually & there the most wonderful afternoon began … we were treated to the most beautiful home made treats, with the promised apple twist, in the beautiful garden surroundings. Definitely a hidden gem in Armagh …. Treat yourself, Blackwell House & everything about it is 5 star!!!!!!

Our stay at Blackwell House was truly one of the highlights of our two weeks in Ireland. It is nestled in the most beautiful area of Northern Ireland and the accommodations were above and beyond expectations. The photos do not do it justice! Edele and Alessio were extraordinary hosts and prepared the most sumptuous 5 course dinner our first night followed by incredible breakfasts the following mornings. Their attention to detail can be see everywhere from the spectacular gardens to their meticulously renovated home and gorgeous guest rooms. Highly, highly recommend Blackwell House!!

Had my baby shower here today and I have to say it's the best afternoon tea I have ever had. The service was fantastic from first contact and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone had such a good time. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back 😊

Visited today for the apple and cider weekend tea. Food was wonderful. Owners and staff were very attentive and friendly. A hidden gem on our doorstep. We really enjoyed our afternoon tea. Will be back for another visit. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing experience at Blackwell House for my mums birthday. Hosts Alessio and Edele and their staff offered us a 5* experience from start to finish. The food was all home made, gardens & surroundings exquisite, decor inside was just beautiful. Thank you so much for having us ❤️

Un luogo incantevole Nell'agosto del 2024 tre generazioni della nostra famiglia hanno trascorso una notte nel Blackwell house, un albergo intimo a cui sonno stati assegnati numerosi riconoscimenti. È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa che ricorderemo sempre. L'hotel è situato in un paesaggio idilliaco. Il giardino romantico invita a rilassarsi e a sognare. Le camere degli ospiti sono arredate in modo molto confortevole e diffondono un grande senso di accoglienza e di agio. La cena a cinque portate era squisita e di altissima qualità. È stata servita una prelibatezza dopo l'altra. Tutti i prodotti erano di provenienza locale o addirittura provenienti dall'orto dell'hotel. I vini serviti sono stati selezionati con grande competenza dal padrone di casa e il loro sapore era eccellente, perfettamente abbinato ai cibi. Il nostro soggiorno è stato un'esperienza indimenticabile. Grazie di cuore a Edele e Alesssio

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Blackwell house. The food was AMAZING. We had the 5 course dinner -every course was fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. We felt so welcomed and well looked after by Alessio and Edele. Can't wait to return.
