The environment is good. The hotel is next to a big lake. It would be better if it was sunny. I didn't visit much because I was on a business trip.

The hotel is right next to Loch Lomond, and Luss is next to it. It is a pure holiday place, quiet and picturesque. The hotel rooms should all face the lake, but the facilities are obviously a bit old. However, overall it's okay. The hotel front desk couldn't find a rental car at the place where we were dropped off, it was so busy. They probably all came by car.

Amazing hotel in the most beautiful and relaxing location by Loch Lomond. I enjoyed the nearby hillwalking and catching the local ferry from Luss Pier to explore Loch Lomond from the water. Room, couch and bed were all very comfortable and cosy, with the benefit of a private balcony. For food you can simply walked down to Luss village or have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Colquhoun's restaurant that is located in the hotel with spectacular views of Loch Lomond to inspire and remind you to appreciate the small things in life. Found the menu choice balanced and of high quality. Will definitely be back A +++++

Amazing view must have balcony room though
Lovely room need balcony room though view of loch amazing hotel parking very tight and hotel dining like cafe style not so nice evening but food ok it was the room that made this hotel as said must have balcony room otherwise just a normal hotel , breakfast was ok

Uninterrupted views of Loch from bedroom
Stunning location, right on edge of Loch Lomond at Luss. Assigned lovely Graham room (no. 9) which has uninterrupted views of Loch (for me, these are my favourite rooms).

Lovely stay on Loch Lomand
A beautiful place at a lovely location. The lodge is situated on the lake with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is well deserving of its 4 star rating by the tourist bureau. I jist we had more time to stay longer and enjoy the activities.

Overnight
Room Lovely, dressing gowns were so rough they could stand up themselves. We had an error code on our heater, called reception got a call bk to say night porter would come, still waiting. It was so cold as temp were really low during the night. Didnt even offer another heater. Emailed a complaint, no reply as yet
Dinner staff have no direction from manager, 4 ppl served us, then they didnt add food to bill, we had to tell them.
Bar very slow, only 1 person on who was making drinks for restaurant & bar, glasses lying on tables for hrs.
B/fast was much more organised
