The advantage of this hotel is the breakfast, which is complete in variety, with fresh ingredients, freshly squeezed orange juice, and good coffee. Another advantage is the location, diagonally opposite the train station, which is convenient for taking a bus to the airport. Luggage can be stored. The disadvantages are that the road at the entrance is under construction, and the hotel's exterior wall seems to be under repair. There are several steps from entering the hotel to taking the elevator, which is very inconvenient with large luggage. The waiter did not seem to help. It was a bit strenuous.

When you go out and turn the corner, you can see Central Station It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk to the platform. The elevator facilities are old and suitable for 2 people and 2 luggages 3 people and 3 luggage are in a hurry The door is often locked and it is inconvenient to open the door at the counter.

The accommodation was clean and nice.

The hotel clearly had instructions for using towels, but when I asked the front desk, they said they didn't provide them. I asked for one and they only gave me one. Anyway, I was given one later.

The transportation is convenient, the parking lot is a bit far away, and there is a Chinese supermarket opposite. However, there was a power outage at night, so I had to wash up in the dark. It seemed that the water was not hot after the power outage, so I couldn't take a shower.

Very clean and good location

Stayed here for one night. The location is very good as within walking distance to the central train station so very accessible for transport links. My room was clean and the bed comfortable but the bathroom was small but ok for one person. Breakfast was very basic - and not really tasty in my opinion therefore that needs to be improved.

City hotel is just a short walk around the corner from the main train station with free trams running up the adjoining street to the tourist centre of town. Our room was large, well furnished, had a separate living area and overlooked the Main Street. Everything worked well. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The nearby Paris Plaza had a nice choice of eateries and wine bars. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the City Hotel the night before our river cruise. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great location near the train station which made getting to the cruise terminal a breeze. Everyone was very helpful answering our questions. I would definately stay here again!

This hotel was an amazing surprise. The best triple room we've ever stayed in, it is actually like a suite because you have 2 rooms inside the bigger one separated by a door, one with a double bed and another with a sigle one, both with TV, desk, wardrobe and etc. We enjoyed very much. Everything was clean and cozy, the heater was working perfectly, and the staff was very kind. Although it is not located in the historic center, it is very close to the Gare and with several transport options in less then 5 min distance, including the airport bus. Besides, they kept our luggage both before the check in and after the check out. It was a really good stay.

The title pretty much sums it. I spend two nights here. Great location, everything is pretty much walking distance and easily accessible. All the important bus lines run right next to the hotel. Rooms nice and tidy, staff extremely friendly - especially the lovely lady working there tuesday evening 19th, super friendly and helpful!

This was a fabulous hotel with wonderful service. Well situated across from the train station and on the street leading to the old town. Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. My room was spacious with glorious windows that opened to the city. Little touches like a hot pot and fresh fruit in the room were special. Breakfast with sparkling wine was lovely. Staff is exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Luxembourg.

Decent room quite clean and neatly kept. Nice shower, plenty of hot water. Good room lighting, exterior view poor. Breakfast typical European business class, but plenty of it. Other than breakfast, there was no other bar / restaurant available, but good restaurant food available within 2 blocks. You may want to try Bella Napoli, Partigiano and Fu Lu Shou Inn. Access to transport and convenience stores. very good and in close vicinity. Some adjacent construction noise, but we were usually out of the hotel prior to it beginning each day. Never did understand the instructions for using the in room safe, and it usually locked up on me and was not usable to us at all. Asked for instructions / directions at front desk a couple of times but replies were pretty much useless as were the city maps that were offered. It's as tho' the people really don't know to to get around their own city nor convey proper directions to those who request them, specifically how to find the tour bus we needed, a couple of restaurants we wanted to visit, the monthly flea market Glacis. That said, we were able to fend for ourselves and had a good stay. Your lifeline might best be Google Maps and T1 (tram) that goes through the middle of town. Good day trip visits out of the city center include Vlanden Castle and the town of Trier in Germany. A big plus is that all public transport in Luxembourg is free. Just get on a bus / train and ride without a ticket within country.

Fantastic hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Loved the location. Initially we thought we were a way away from the centre, but we discovered other little Xmas markets on the way to the main one and wouldn't have found these otherwise. In fact, we preferred the one near the hotel as in the evening they put a DJ on and it was brilliant. Probably a 15 minute walk from the town centre. However, unbeknown to us, all transport in Luxembourg is free and the tram / train / bus station is literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel. We got a taxi from the airport on arrival (50 euros), but you can come outside the airport and get a number 29 bus which take you straight to the bus station outside the hotel (just FYI). The rooms were lovely and clean, beds very comfy and fab pillows! Breakfast was continental, but to be fair, I don't think I have ever eaten as much breakfast. Good coffee and loved the orange juice machine! I would highly recommend this hotel - in fact, we have booked again for 2023! Thanks for a great stay.
