Positive: Location near the train and bus station, shopping street and center. Bed is OK. Wifi good, but first day and night not available because the router had to be rebooted. (What the man apparently didn't know at the lobby) Cleanliness OK, staff friendly and helpful. TV has many channels. At the outskirts of the street, the hotel has a sixty parking spaces in a closed parking. Negative: room rather small, toilet and shower is common on the gang. View from the room nihil (small indoor path). Foot end bed is still a wooden stick (not really hotel bed). Because of the small size of the room we have been hit several times. Just a little washing box in the room.

Stayed in various mama shelter hotels around the world so I am used to the nice decor and funky ambiance which is something that keeps me coming back but on this one i was received by alexandra from front desk with an overall un friendly attitude very unlike the spirit of mama shelter. Apart from that everything was good, great room delicious cookies at reception great food and ok location ( transport is free in Luxembourg so no problem traveling into the city) on the downside cinema is not public and no gym.

The walk from the train station is uphill, we made it slowly! We were able to check-in a little early which was appreciated. The room was nice and clean. The service was friendly. The snacks for the evening could be better, however the breakfast selection was good. There were scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs available along with a variety of meats and cheeses, fruits, breads, sweets. Based on restaurant breakfast expenses the value is good. Getting a taxi upon check out was sketchy, asked the desk to order one for the next day, the next day didn’t know which entrance it would be coming to and ended up having to hail one for ourselves out front.

Clean comfortable room. Easy check in. Breakfast was continental in style and better than expected. Coffee, teas, cereals, fruits, pastries, bread, hams and cheeses. Very close to the train station and a short walk to the main part of the city to explore as a tourist.

The location is very good, more than ten minutes walk to the main attractions in Luxembourg. And the hotel has plenty of ground parking spaces, there is an underground parking lot, and free parking. So it is very convenient for us to drive here. The room was very clean, the front desk staff was warm and patient, because I had a parking ticket in Brussels, I didn't understand the text above, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic to help me see and check the information. Thank you very much.

Couldn't have been happier with my stay at Empire. The location was ideal, being just across the road from the main train station and tram stop, making it incredibly easy to travel to all the sights that the city has to offer. As for the hotel itself, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend to anyone planning to visit Luxembourg City!

Very close to the city center, it is very convenient to walk. The hotel environment is also very good, the only downside may be that breakfast is charged separately and the room has no air conditioning. But fortunately, the temperature is not very good. In terms of use, satisfaction.

Review of thurs 28.12.23: Room 502 Hotel Grey Luxembourg. Quant hotel open 24 hours. Right across from the main train station. The room was modern with a safe, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, and built-in wall radio Rooms with modern decor and soundproof. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. The reception staff Sabir was very helpful. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have breakfast. All trams and buses are free to use. Walking distance to the tourist section. The title pretty much sums it. I spend two nights here. Great location, everything is pretty much walking distance and easily accessible. All the important bus lines run right next to the hotel. Rooms nice and tidy, staff extremely friendly - especially the lovely lady working there tuesday evening 19th, super friendly and helpful!

Lovely hotel and restaurant! We enjoyed several breakfasts in the “study” and dining room. Next time I will eat on the outdoor patio. Wonderful service & friendly staff who work very hard to prepare coffee for multiple guests in a short period. Take time to enjoy your meal. No need to rush. Very accommodating to travelers with variable schedules. They graciously stored our bags for several hours & printed a very important document. Despite the street party at the bar around the corner for the night marathon, the noise didn’t carry into the room. I’d love to return!
