Fabulous greeting both on the phone and on arrival. Everything about this place deserves a big tick compared to the corporate hotel I’ve just arrived at next day in Telford. I will be returning here without a doubt. Visitors to this establishment need to respect what it’s all about. Breakfast was fab.

Siamo stati molto soddisfatti del soggiorno in questa caratteristica scuola inglese riconvertita. Molto bene le stanze (hanno anche la presa elettrica continentale!) e davvero appetitosa la prima colazione. Gentilissima la signora che gestisce magistralmente il tutto

such a nice find, living in France we wanted a real 'english' experience. We were not disappointed. This old school has been nicely maintained keeping the 'old style' in the bedrooms and bathrooms, quirky but thoroughly appreciated, lovely old fittings and decor. The food is so nice too, sensible portions of freshly homemade dishes, a good variety too. (The home made fish fingers are a must!!) We will recommend this delightful place to our family and friends. looking forward to coming back.

The male manager was completely rude. Threatened to THROW me out and when challenged to do so, backed down. Told me to “stop looking at me like that”. Grow up! The downstairs rooms were ok but the upstairs smelled of damp and there was obvious damp in the stairwell. You have to take your own trash home with you (no bin provided). You MUST eat at his restaurant and you must eat “before you go out”. Yeah he was arrogant!

A magnificent place with a very warm welcome. We thought we were family. Very comfortable bedding and a very cozy room. Excellent dishes and a royal breakfast. A relaxing calm and a superb landscape. Karen the owner was extremely kind and her husband a talented Chef. Thanks to them and big kisses to Fred the affectionate dog. Valérie and Franck
