A lovely weekend stay in Lyme Regis. Dorset House is a gorgeous period building with beautiful decor, comfortable accommodation, and fantastic breakfasts with delicious, locally sourced, home made produce and a very warm welcome. Thank you Lyn and Jas.

Our favourite place to stay whenever we're in Lyme Regis. Our June visit was up to the usual very high standard. The Lighthouse Suite was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, with a great view over the bay. The breakfasts, as always, were excellent - all fresh, mainly local, ingredients. Lyn & Jason's customer service & attention to detail is outstanding - nothing is too much trouble. We even managed to persuade Jason (who is a licensed LTA coach) to give us some tennis lessons!

Perfect! Especially having to walk up and down steep hill after 5star breakfast. Jason is so laid back we thought he might fall over! Their Pizza Restaurant also delicious and incredibly friendly cheerful young staff. The bus stops outside their door. Lyme Regis in the sunshine is gorgeous DH a must

Simply wonderful! The attention to detail and care that Lyn and Jason gave to us during our three day stay was special. The breakfast choice and quality of individual ingredients was exceptional. Together, they combined to create memorable tastes. We explored the menu and every choice was perfectly cooked from eggs Benedict, traditional English to miso mushrooms. Our super king bed was like home and walk in shower was perfect and immaculate.

This was our third stay at Dorset House with Jason and Lyn and we have chosen a different room each time, the rooms are beautifully decorated with a lovely clean bathroom with Land and Water toiletries, white fluffy towels and bathrobes. The beds are super comfy. We were greeted by Lyn when we arrived and she offered us a cup of tea which we enjoyed sat on the veranda. They don't have guest parking but parking is easy and free in some of the side roads. The breakfast is incredible, definitely five star dining, so much choice which is either locally sourced or home made. We will be back very soon.

An extremely comfortable, calm, spacious and lovely house in Lyme Regis, We were made to feel very welcome, the bedroom was fine and the breakfasts were really delicious. I would recommend Dorset House for couples that enjoy walking, sightseeing and good food as there are plenty of these around this fabulous accommodation.

Lyn and Jason made us feel very welcome at their B&B. Dorset House is a B&B but also have public areas available for the guests and an honesty bar, which makes the B&B seem more like an up-market hotel. We had a great time staying at the Dorset House and are looking forward to coming back.

If you are looking for a relaxing treat with amazing , thoughtfully put together breakfast , this is a top choice. The hosts are so welcoming and the attention to detail in the decor of the rooms is exquisite. A beautiful edwardian property that has been decorated to a high standard . The kind of place that you imagine has a lot of repeat booking . The food is locally sourced and cooked with love . Absolutely amazing , such a wonderful holiday treat. Thank you so much Jason and Lyn ! Can’t wait to re-book.

Just back from a short break in Lyme Regis at Dorset House. Excellent hosts, Jason & Lynn with bags of experience and relaxed style. Can't fault a thing and we have had many B&B short breaks over 25 years! This was one of the very best - accommodation and facilities superb, plus breakfasts to die for! A great location for a short stay in Lyme regis, close to restaurants, shops and beach in fact all you could want.
