The check in very easy and the hotel has great bag hood service. The rooms are fine in an old school house sorta style (if that’s your thing?). They also have free water sparkling and still which is nice

Great atmosphere. Courteous staff. Nice and clean rooms. Wonderful balcony. Terrace for guests. Perfect location in the old town. Great for exploring all of Lyon on foot.

Bom hotel, quarto bem simples mas tinha um bom espaço e era confortável. Banheiro espaçoso também com um ótimo chuveiro. O local é movimentado de noite, então pode ter um pouco de barulho, mas não nos incomodou. A localização é boa, a pé você consegue conhecer bastante coisa. Estacionamento pago à parte, nessa ocasião conseguimos parar o carro na rua, porém é zona paga, então fique atento para os horários. Não sei se o café é bom, acabamos tomando nas cafeterias na região pois o preço é bem menor. Como dica, gostei bem mais desse hotel do que o localizado logo à frente (L'academie, mesmo dono). Ficaria novamente!

The elevator was dirty, there were dirty line bag lying around the hallway, need to improve the cleanliness.

Excellent location in the old part of the city. This hotel does a great job of getting the basics right - ambience, cleanliness, friendly and efficient staff, nice breakfast buffet.

Room equipment is very basic and more befitting of a 2 star budget hotel, bathroom idem. Bed was ok but 140 mtr wide and the room barely has a window Breakfast very poor and items were not or hardly replenished

Disappointing from the very start. Chose this place as they offered secure parking in the city. Car lift did not work and we were trapped. Very hot and claustrophobic and we rang the alarm bell many times to NO réponse. Very worrying. Eventually help came after we had to ring reception. I speak excellent French but it may help other visitors to have instructions in other languages. Staff trying to be helpful but really seemed out of their depth. They explained that, due to an international event on in Lyon hotel prices were higher that weekend. £270 for one night’s stay WITHOUT breakfast seemed excessive. Didn’t know this when we booked months earlier! Understand the hotel’s design concept but the room was shabby at its best. The guest pre stay booking form we completed online prior to leaving the UK, they seemed to have no acknowledgement of until prompted to confirm our requested details. We will not be returning although we visit Lyon often.

This hotel is in a fantastic area with loads of shopping, food choices & bars. Walk everywhere. Close to the metro station & bus routes.

The College Hotel was perfect in every way. Would stay there again.perfect location. The private carpark was a real bonus.

Very well situated in old Lyon. Walking distance all sites. Many restaurants and bars very nearby. Very good breakfast in a room with all kinds of memories of and old high school. Terrace on the second floor open all day, bar between 16-21 o clock. Private secure parking place

A lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful, informative staff. Stylish decor with a fabulous reception. Great area in the heart of Old Town but a few minutes out of the main hustle and bustle which helped provide a slightly quieter feel to immediate area outside hotel. Perfect.
