The hotel was really good with communication, and made us feel welcomed at check in. The room was small, but comfy and well designed. It’s really close to a metro stop, which is really helpful for getting around. What I loved was their breakfast buffet. Usually these are hit and miss, but this was a hit. They had a pistachio break that was so good, I wanted to run off with the whole loaf.

Hotel pratique car situé à Jean Macé pas loin du centre et à côté du métro.
Un peu bruyant le couloir (mal isolé)on entend facilement les personnes parler la nuit ou le matin tôt.
Lit confortable, accueille plutôt bien.

Hôtel très sympa qui sort du cadre habituel ! Bonne ambiance, personnel agréable et la restauration proposée est très appréciable. Nous avons pris un plateau de fromage à partager en entrée qui aurait clairement pu être le plat. Puis un tartare avec frites maison. Nous avons passé un week-end en amoureux 2 nuits et ce fut un très bon week-end. Je recommande tant pour l’hôtel que le restaurant !

The Mama Shelter is the hipper member of the Accor group, and I enjoyed staying at this hotel for that reason: friendly staff, great bar. Room was clean and comfortable, even though a bit small. It was equipped with a small desk, which was important to me for working. WiFi worked well. The lobby is disappointingly small and provides virtually no space to spend time. There is just one big table just in front of the reception. Other than that, you need to go to the restaurant / bar. Great location, just a few steps from the Jean Macé subway station, providing direct access to the station (Part Dieu) and from there to the airport. Can recommend it for anybody who wants to discover Lyon, as the direct neighborhood around the hotel is also developing nicely.

L’accueil a été parfait du début à la fin de notre séjour. Nous avons commencé par le brunch du dimanche. Top. Grand choix et tout très bon. Nos petits chiens ont été les bienvenus pendant tout le séjour. Seul bémol, il faisait vraiment très chaud dans tout le restaurant. L’hôtel est très bien aussi. La chambre médium de bonne taille, propre et le lit très confortable. Le dîner a été très sympathique. Les plats copieux et l’animation musicale très appréciable. Le buffet petit déjeuner était varié et copieux. En résumé, un très bon établissement.
