Travelodge Lytham St Annes

Great service Becky and all the staff brilliant. Rooms immaculate. Lifts and location spot on.

Located right in the heart of St Annes, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Shopping was also very convenient. A Mark's and Spencer just below the hotel. Eateries and coffee shops just round the corner. Very close to the restaurant that my friend operates. Was there to visit him as I had not seen him for over 5 years. This hotel does not have much in the form of facilities. Only 4 carpark space and 3 more for handicaps. There are fee paying carparks nearby but can find free parking in back streets further away from hotel.

A disappointing stay , very basic accommodation. Room was very stuffy with no air con or even glasses to get a drink of water. Dead pigeon outside our window kind of summed up the eiree , desolate feeling inside the room. I wouldn't recommend staying here if it was the last place on earth.

The hotel was very clean and centrally located. Unlimited tea/coffee/milk available from reception. There's a Costa Coffee and M&S Foodhall directly below which are good for breakfast. Spoke to various staff members who were all really pleasant. Would like to particularly mention the wonderful hotel manager Kyhal who went above and beyond by arranging to post back a phone charger we accidentally left behind. Our only negative was that the rooms were very warm (possibly just because we were on 3rd/top floor). There was a powerful but desktop quiet fan provided in the room, and lightweight bedding was helpfully provided on request. The windows were ajar on arrival on a security catch, which also did help. It was approx. 20-25°c outside when we stayed and with the fan the room made it ok, but in warmer weather it would have been unbearable. I would definitely stay again, because it was really pleasant on the whole and the staff were so good. However, I would ask for a lower floor and would probably avoid it in the hotter summer months.

Stayed here for first time recently.Room was clean & comfortable.Main areas whilst clean could do with a freshen up. Staff were friendly.

Had a pleasant stay. Hotel was very central for all amenities. Rooms were clean. Only negative was a tad to warm. Would stay again.

Unfortunately, the worst stay ever in a Travelodge which we usually rate highly. We will certainly not return to this one again - the stay was terrible from start to finish. The water in the basin and bath did not go down the plughole - we were moved to another room by an employee armed with a plunger! Fair enough. When we got back after an evening out, there was no water in the whole hotel! Admittedly, we were provided with free bottles of water but this is not a good look for a hotel! The noise was terrible in both rooms - lots of children running amok in the corridors (ok not the hotel's fault) and you can hear every sound from rooms in all directions. On this hotel's website, they go on about how it has recently been refurbished and how much better it is now - honestly, it seems much worse to me. I would not recommend this particular Travelodge (not matter how cheap it is!).

The hotel was good room was clean and comfortable our reason for low rating was families allowing children to treat corridors as play areas with footballs and chasing and banging doors

Stayed here for 3 nights from early evening till 11 pm peace and quiet ruined by children running up and down corridors and on final night they were playing football. Room was nice clean pillows were of poor quality and rock hard which led to poor night's sleep No storage for clothes or belongings just 6 hangers on a rail which means you a living our of your suitcase. Will not be returning .
