We booked 3 rooms for 11 of us as a family whilst celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. A mixture of ages from 5 - 73 and the Dalmeny catered for us all. The children loved the pool, and children’s entertainment. The adults the spa areas. We had good weather and just across are the entertainments children love. Breakfast at the Dalmeny was excellent. We had our anniversary meal in town though. All,in all this is a lovely family hotel. Very busy, but lovely rooms, lovely staff and good for all ages. Would definitely stay again.

Went for a day spa with family and really enjoyed it, the pool and jacuzzi were both ideal temperatures and the hot stone massage with the therapist called "Waan" was the best i have ever had,i did not want it to end, then we had prossecco and afternoon tea which was also just perfect..really glad i bought the deal and would definitely go again.

If there's a special place in Heaven for hotel staff then the staff of the Dalmeny will bag all the seats. Fantastic service, from moving heavy furniture in the lounge area so that eight of us could sit together to finding and writing out details of the place we were planning to visit. All done with cheerfulness and courtesy. Clean, spacious bedroom, spotless shower, good breakfast.

Just spent one night at the Dalmeny, located straight across from the beach. Sea view room was spacious, full view of the bay and very clean. Staff are very friendly and understanding of small children (thank you). Dinner was excellent, smoked mackerel pate, tomato & veg soup, roast beef dinner (beautifully presented), lobster ravioli, lemon posset and brownie with ice cream. Childs portion of penne pasta in tomato sauce also delicious. Service very attentive. Large swimming pool was lovely and warm. Plenty of free parking.

We had a super time at this hotel and I was charmed by the friendly and chatty staff. The beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. On our first night we ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic: plenty of choice and the desserts were especially good. Very easy to access town from the original door at the back of the hotel; we found ourselves on the main residential street with regular busses and handy shops. I thoroughly recommend The Dalmeny for a stay in Blackpool.

Fabulous location, right next to the pier. Really comfy beds, in a quiet room. But the star of the show needs to be the food. We had 2 evening meals in the Indigo restaurant, and all the food was wonderful. The staff were all delightful, and really helpful.

Just returned from a night away at Dalmeny hotel with my family. I think we got really unlucky with the room we were allocated (531), people constantly banging up and down the stairs and music blaring (sounded like an exercise class) through the patio doors at 06:40am!! I took my daughter into the ‘kid zone’ and the 2 young girls working in there didn’t even acknowledge our existence, it wasn’t a very friendly atmosphere and we lasted 10 minute before I wanted to leave. It was also very odd that there was a parent sat in there with 2 pints. It was a shame as the room was great for kids. The real highlight of our stay was the swimming pool. We went swimming in the evening and it was a lovely clean and warm pool. Even the changing rooms were really tidy and clean. Towels were also provided and there were noodle floats left out for the children to use. Overall not sure if we would return, if we did I would definitely be asking for a quieter location in the hotel
