The Hollingworth

Usually, being 'lazy', I don't make an effort to review somewhere I have stayed in but, this time, I WILL make an effort. Debbie and Mike were one of the nicest people you could ever meet. They were very friendly and made an effort to understand why you were in the area. The accommodation was much better than I had expected. I had a single room that was very clean, big enough for one person and very much up to date. There was a kettle, numerous choices of beverages (including a bottle of water) and plug sockets that had USB ports for charging your various devices. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard and hanging spaces for your clothes. The bathroom was modern, extremely clean, and the shower was big enough for those of us who like 'a bit of space'. I took the option of having a full English breakfast and willl admit that it was plentiful, well cooked, to order, and very, very tasty. If I had decided to take the continental breakfast then I would have not been at all disappointed. There were many choices of bread (including crumpets), fresh fruit, various cereals, yoghurts etc etc. Two toasters and fresh coffee. One of the things that stood out for me was that there was a stair lift which I have never seen before in bnb accommodation - not that I needed a stairlift but, it was a bonus for those who would have benefitted from it. I am sure that I have missed other positives of the accommodation but it is difficult to highlight them as they flow naturally into what you would hope to see in somewhere to stay when you are away from home.

Mike & Debbie are perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We were made so welcome...part of the family! We chose Room 3 for the extra large bed. Compact, at the back of the hotel. Frosted windows so no view, but plenty of light. Same in the en suite. Shower small, but adequate. All linen clean & fresh. Excellent cooked breakfast & unlimited fresh coffee enjoyed (+ the included 'continental') Really good position close to town & beach. Onsite parking also a big plus. Plenty of good eating places within walking distance, too.

The hosts gave us a warm welcome. We had booked a budget room which was small. It was adequate for our needs and importantly nice and clean. The continental breakfast was good and the full English breakfast was extremely good value for the extra cost. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

We booked the Hollingworth to attend a concert in Blackpool. This accommodation is excellent and the Hosts were remarkable; welcoming; informative and friendly. We received a warm welcome on arrival, the property was clean, comfortable and value for money. There was a varied choice for breakfast to cater for all needs and nothing was too much trouble. It felt like home from home with a relaxing atmosphere and travel, local advice provided. Words cannot convey our appreciation and thanks for the service we were provided with which was exceptional.

warm welcome, comfortable clean room. Relaxed atmosphere, best price and location for St anne's. Breakfast is ample to see you through to lunch. TV choice is great. Catch up Tv on freeview channels. Mike and Denise are very friendly and you feel at home with them.

just returned from a wonderful stay at the hollingworth B&B such a cosy & friendly home from home property, with lovely hosts Mike & Debbie that serve up a tasty breakfast with lots of choice each morning, there are lovely ensuite rooms, ideally located for shops beach bars & restaurants, with added bonus of onsite parking, would highly recommend for a stay in lytham st annes.

Rooms were very clean and nice. Reasonably priced too considering it was a bank holiday weekend, cheapest in the area. Only a couple minutes walk from the centre and the beach of St Ann’s. And of course, the host are very friendly people and welcoming.

Another great stay at the Hollingworth Hotel, St Anne's. Lovely clean, comfortable room with tasty breakfast in the morning. Only a short walk from hotel into town centre and bus stop. Thank you Mike and Debbie. Look forward to returning in August.

Brilliant stay .fab location the hosts were the friendliest people I have met and our bed was the biggest I’ve seen and a lovely clean room.breakfast was spot on it filled me for the day..will be booking again very soon as the price was the best around aswell
