I stayed at Triton Prestige Sea View and Spa for 2 nights in April 2024. We were focused more on Triton Activities and Water sports during our stay! The only reason why I gave 4 starts and reduced one star was because of a lady named Jovi who was at the reception! She was full of attitude and rude! Except for her everyone else at the hotel was so welcoming and exceeding our expectation. Restaurant staff was so welcoming and professional! Dilan and Nishen from Reception was very helpful and guiding us the best way during our stay! We went on the Shark bay tour and I have to say that was the best in my whole Maldives trip! The guide, caption and other 2 guys who were on the boat from staff were very friendly and made sure we had the best experience! They have captured very nice under water photos and videos for us which were like life time memories. It was totally worth the money we spent! We got lucky to swim with Dolphins too that day. Talking about water sports, we did parasailing, jet ski and funtube. The instructors at water sports center was next level! We did jet ski alone and the next day with the instructor! The instructor we got was sooo good and very helpful! The food range at the buffet wasn’t a lot satisfactory but since we were more focused on activities… we were ok with what we got to eat! We highly recommend Triton Prestige Sea View and Spa for anyone who is looking forward for an adrenaline rush with a stress free staycation.

As a newlywed couple, our honeymoon in the Maldives was an absolute dream, and it wouldn't have been the same without the exceptional service we received at Arena Beach Hotel. The level of hospitality we encountered was truly outstanding, and we owe a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff members who made our stay so memorable. Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The pristine beaches and turquoise waters of the Maldives provided the perfect backdrop for romance and relaxation. The staff is rude and uncooperative, especially their operation manager , a very malicious and provocative person. The hotel is not 4 stars at all. Before and after the hotel is a construction area, which makes it a very dirty place. The restaurant smells rancid and the food is bad. We could not eat a bite, even the water glasses smelled bad. The session The interior and exterior are lousy, and the disaster is that the beach and the sea are not beautiful, as if you are in a poor village that is not in the Maldives. Our children’s room was dirty and full of insects, and when we told them they just sprayed insecticide and caused our children allergies, the balcony is not soundproofed and all the noise and drums on the beach and the street you hear while you are inside the room, we could not sleep That night, one hour, even the voices of people in the entrance can be heard, and the curtains are not light-proof, the bed and pillows are very bad, we stayed one night and asked to checke out early and that they have to return to us part of the payment of the remaining four nights and for two rooms .we checked out to find out that they deducted all the booking and the high tax and the 5 breakfasts with the green tax with careLess and disregards from their manager . It was the most terrible hotel in Maldives with the biggest lose

We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING AND AVOID TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! We spent 3 nights there and were treated as if we were money. We went to eat at the hotel restaurant and asked for fresh juice, they gave us very tasteless mango juice and told us that mango in maafushi is not sweet, we had the same juice in another part of the island and it was as we expected. Every time we sit down they insistently ask us if we want water, and even if we say no, they leave the water on the table and don't include it in the bill, as soon as we get up they run after us saying we have to pay for the water, obviously we told them that the water was still closed on the table and we didn't pay. They even charge a 10% service charge like everywhere else but they never bring us change and keep it for themselves. They cook without head cover or gloves and the food was of very poor quality. We asked to join an excursion at the reception 30 minutes before it started and they told us it was not possible to organise it, so we went to the beach, where there is a kaani beach, asked them directly and they organised it for us right away (they were very angry about the attitude of the receptionist and told us that receptionist did not even want to make a phone call). The night was a circus: very loud music from 9pm until 1am and it was not possible to sleep in the room or talk on the balcony because of the noise. Room service did not replace towels, beach towels or toilet the day of departure they told us that some beach towels were missing, so we had to waste time explaining that we hadn't received them the day before. And obviously they asked us to leave a good review in booking, this makes me think they think we are stupid. Avoid this place.

Masala Street (inside White Shell Hotel): The entrance looks very fancy but when you step in, it's a kind of a let down where they have a plain room with tables and chairs put together. As this restaurant is attached to White Shell Island Hotel and Spa, their menu prices are all in USD, as is the case with all such other restaurants in Maafushi Island that are tied with a hotel. On the other hand, it seems that stand alone restaurants charge in MVR. A major negative is that they charge a 4% fee on the Bill of you pay by card, which doesn't apply if you pay by cash. The moment we told that we don't have USD and were about to walk out, the person said it's ok that we pay by card and he'll waive off the 4% fee. LOL! We had ordered Veg. Kadhai and Rotis (because their tandoor wasn't operational, so we couldn't have had naan) and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was very much like typical Indian taste. The rotis were phulka and served piping hot adding to the good experience. We would visit again, just for the taste.

The Kaani Village hotel is part of a hotel chain on the island. The treatment has been excellent from the reception, where we did not have to carry the suitcases at any time. The first person we had contact with was Magic, who gave us his phone number for anything that might happen. The room has all the comforts: a spacious bathroom, a large bed, plugs, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fan, lots of artificial and natural light, as well as access to the indoor pool. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk. The hotel offers all services directly, without third parties. We have done excursions in which we have swum with sharks, turtles, we have seen the coral reef, we have played with manta rays and we have eaten on deserted islands. In addition, the monitors that have touched us have had impeccable attention. We have coincided with people from many cultures and the respect that there is in general is noticeable. The price per excursion is between $30-50 per person, which is very affordable considering that you spend a large part of the day outside and it includes food. They also offer water sports. We have not been able to do them because we have lacked some time on the island. We have been here 5 nights. As for the food, they made us an improvement compared to what we had contracted and all the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) have been at the Kaani Palm, which is on the beachfront. They also gave us free access to the infinity pool on the 9th floor. The views are incredible. The beach in front is private and only accessible to hotel residents. On this beach you can wear a bikini without any problems. There are ushers who take care of everything you may need: lounger, drinks, food... It should be noted that the island is a mix between several hotel chains and private homes of people who live here, so it is not as artificial as if it were a deserted island with a resort. There are many cats that are very humanized, are good and allow themselves to be caressed. In general the experience has been very positive. If we had to recommend the trip, we would only increase the stay by 1 or 2 days to be able to do what little we have lacked.

The hotel is not bad and affordable, the first to go to the Maldives does not know how to book a hotel. I was originally reporting to the group but because I had to pay the money of two people alone, I simply went there. Looking at the pictures of the hotel in the travel agency's itinerary, I found out that it was cheaper than the travel agency! Fortunately, I didn't follow the group, but the problem is coming! The introduction does not explain the time of the boat trip on the island and other information! Orders can only be changed and cancelled before confirmation. It is confirmed that there is no way to solve the problem soon after it is found! I can only admit that I am unlucky! This should be improved! Some hotel information is not very accurate, such as showing only a few kilometers but it is a headache to take a boat! There is no reminder on the transportation mode of the hotel. Some losses could have been avoided!

This is not just a holiday. This is a once in a lifetime experience like no other. For us, this was a 10 day honeymoon in paradise and it was thanks to the fantastic folks at Como Cocoa Island who gave us an unparalleled level of service complete with stunning views and amazing food. From the friendly greeting we got by Hardy at the airport to arriving after a speedboat ride and Rishfaz warmly welcoming us to the island and showing us to our gorgeous Dhoni Water Loft Villa. We were astounded by the captivating views of the Indian Ocean from our very own veranda and all we had to do was walk down a few little steps we were and able to go snorkeling with sea turtles and colourful fishes of all shapes and sizes. The actual rooms in the villa were beautiful too. Light, airy, of the highest quality furniture including a giant comfy bed and fully air conditioned throughout which was most welcome in that heat. One step outside and you were greeted by the boardwalk that took you to this tiny little private island escape with beautiful white sand and crystal blue and turquoise waters. The picutres honestly don't do it justice. It has to be seen to be believed. We would eat and have an amazing team serve us for the duration of the trip from the fabulous UFAA restaurant and bar. The food was simply incredible with a variety of dishes that featured local cuisines (including some amazing seafood curries) as well as classic Mediterranean delights and the healthy signature Como Shambala menu was available too. We always were able to try something new each time. What really made the restaurant (and bar) so special though, were the amazing team on hand to serve us. All so friendly and warm, some we got to know so well that they felt more like friends by the end of the trip sharing laughs and jokes all topped with exceptional service throughout. They made us feel more like family instead of occupants. We loved meeting and were served by the excellent Sulthan, Sithin, Michael, Anura, Muru and Hindra all of which gave us the most incredible service throughout as well as being full of life, personality and good vibes. At the bar we had Ravi make us excellent cocktails served at the sandbanks by the fantasic Blu where we would watch the sunset every evening. This team is a credit to Como group and really help this place stand out as one of the most incredible resorts in the world. In addition to this we should mention that the incredibly charming manager of rooms Ahmed who would always greet us so warmly and who would ensure that during our entire stay there we were well looked after throughout. During our stay we had the pleasure of using the Como Shambala Spa which helped us relax with April, Wannee, Chandra and Tari giving us the most amazing signature massages, a speciality of the Como brand. We had to keep coming back for more. Fadzil and Noki at the spa too were also always so friendly and welcoming any time we even passed there. In closing, we can't thank ever

GGuest UserLocation hardly matters in Maaffushi as the whole island is a 10 min walk. Booked the hotel for two nights stay. The host Ahmed was extremely responsive on chat n email and kept us updated. Also helped in booking for water sports and speed boat ride from Male airport. The hotel staff greeted us as soon as we got of the boat and took us for a very smooth checkin with some fresh juice. The hotel is around 5 min walk from the bikini beach and the Resturant area, is extremely clean and peaceful. Its a newly build hotel so every thing was brand new. No hush n bush so ideal. Breakfast was nice and room service did a fantastic job. Highly recommend if you are looking for a not so fancy but extremely clean, safe and peaceful hotel with all basic utilities in a hotel.
GGuest UserMy first trip to maafushi and the hotel lea spa hotel is great place to stay and experience. The friendly staff from the reception to restaurant is excellent. The room is really clean, comfortable bed. A small mini bar with a complimentary water bottle and coffee is really great. The hallway is clean and always smells very nice and refreshing. The roof top restaurant is very clean and food and drinks taste great and the sunset view is a great time to enjoy dinner with the sun kiss the ocean view. The reception is very clean and well organized with any requests from the guests. Maya always smiles and checks the if the guests needs any assistance to book excursions, etc.. Maya is wonderful staff who really try upselling the rooms, promote the restaurant. I feel like she a great asset to the hotel management. Rakeeb the room boy is very friendly and nice to talk with. My stay from 21st August to 22nd August in room 206 is memory which will always be remembered and i will definitely be back to this hotel.
FFakhrinThe resort is very nice and quiet. Room is spacious and neat. It's located very near to the jetty. In fact, everything is near because Maafushi is not so big. Water sport, snorkeling package etc is easy to find.
Thanks to Aishath, the person in charge at the resort. She helped a lot in giving suggestions for activities to be done in Maldives.
Rehendhi villa is an awesome hotel with all basic amenities covered. They arrange for speed boat transfers, provide proper guidance with very good front staff 2 ladies named Nancy and nimitra( I m sorry for the wrong spelling of your names ) . One is from kerala and other from srilanka Now comes the most important person who is Mr Mohan from srlanka who is part of their restaurant team and who is also the supervisor who manages everything. He was a special person for us who made this stay from a 3 star property to a 5 star stay. We stayed for 3 nights and he recommended us and served us amazing vegetarian breakfast along with special veg items in dinner which he served us in dinner times We are very obliged to you and appreciate your gestures and the way you treat your customers so special. Also Mr mohnish from the same team also made great srilankan tea for myself , so special thanks to him as well Mr Mohan also guided us for shopping and he also gave us special things to my daughter in a bottle to carry memories back to mumbai. So really thankful and I will recommend this hotel to everyone looming for a budgeted and a comfortable stay. Only thing is they don't have lifts and ceiling fans but their AC is enough to make the room cool. So all in all a very good etay at Rehendhi villa because of its overall staff and Mr Mohan
KKarina RI stayed 4 nights at this hotel which was enough as my first impression of the room was not what it looked liked online. It was very dated. The storage cabinets had broken off bits of wood and no flowers, fruit or towels wrapped up on bed as picture shows on their website of bed. The bathroom smelt upon arrival with the toilet blocking up twice. Yes I put toilet paper in the toilet first time then was told not to put toilet paper in toilet so didn’t after that but stilled blocked again. The lavender smelling sachet in bathroom was empty on arrival. Bed was hard. Lightbulb above mirror was blown in room. Room safe had key but numbers didn’t work. TV didn’t work. No signal. Reception was presented well. The breakfast was not great. Not much choice and all foods were cold. No heating of baked beans or sausages. The woman in the dining room was rude twice. Could have been more polite and friendly. I only had breakfast twice and it was very little. I could hear the staff out the back in the kitchen clearing their throat very loudly as if going to spit. I also heard this upstairs a few times by staff. I thought was disgusting. The stairs had broken wood and weren’t the safest. The guy who got my baggage when I arrived and also took it to the boat was the Hotels best asset. He was lovely and always had a smile. He was very respectable. It is very noisy there at night so no sleep until midnight as set surrounded by bars and restaurants playing loud music. Garden setting is lovely. Beach is across the road. Though can’t swim there. This hotel needs a refurbishment. The best part was the shower. Good pressure from large shower head. I rate it 3/5 for my stay. Also wasn’t given more loo paper when room was cleaned in day 3. Only cleaned once. Wouldn’t stay again.
BBam/every thing is so perfect in this place from the manager jack who is very professional in terms of hospitality no dull moment until the last day of our stay early check in late check out he even arranged all the tours and before we ask he already booked our speed boat going back to the airport to the front desk Envie Maricar David and to all the staffs they’ll let you feel very welcome like their family thank you jack and the rest of your team surely will come back and i also highly recommend this place best place ever..
GGuest UserI had no idea that there were affordable places to stay in the Maldives, but then I found the Ci-Ritorno View, and I was in! I was originally only going to stay for a few days, but then I got COVID and had to quarantine at the hotel. Arif took fantastic care of me while I was there: by the end, he felt like family. I had to extend my flight anyway because of my quarantine, but I decided to stay a couple of extra weeks to really get to enjoy the country. The room was large, the bed was SUPER comfortable (and I'm a picky sleeper), the breakfast was nice, the hotel was only a three-minute walk to the beach, everything was walkable, and there were several restaurants and shops nearby. And the best part was that the low price of the hotel meant that I could afford extra snorkeling trips. I mean, if you have thousands of dollars to spend on a private bungalow, be my guest. But the only reason I was able to afford such a long time in the Maldives was because of the Ci-Ritorno View. I'm so grateful that an affordable hotel still exists, and I'm already trying to figure out when I can come back again.
