The hotel provides sunbeds upon request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, you are either not found on the beach or provided by others for which local merchants ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is absolutely nothing to watch on it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart which is strange for a 21 year old hotel.
Everything else is good! The staff is trying very hard. Everything around is new.
Maafushi itself is not the best option to completely spend your vacation on it. But it is perfect as a transit point between the islands or if you need to wait out something in this country on a budget.

La piscina rooftop sul tetto è molto bella, la stanza molto bella anche se è un po’ piccolina con un balcone e vista sulla spiaggia dei locali (Non bikini beach). i ragazzi della reception e soprattutto quelli dei servizi in sala sono degli ottimi ragazzi e dei bravi professionisti. La posizione è comoda un po’ per andare ovunque perché l’isola è molto piccola. Ottima escursione per nuotare con gli squali. C’erano molte costruzioni avviate intorno all’hotel e alcune davanti. Sicuramente una cosa negativa è la Cucina, secondo i nostri gusti non tollerabile. L’unico consiglio che posso dare è migliorare la Cucina perché i ragazzi di Sala sono splendidi ma noi, nonostante avessimo pagato per la pensione completa, la maggior parte di volte siamo andati al ristorante.

We stayed at Triton Prestige for 1 night during our stay at Maafushi. We were taken on a day tour to swim with the dolphins (unfortunately there were no dolphins on the day) and to swim with the sharks. Shark swim was somewhat scary but the guides took necessary precautions. Rest of the tour included a stingray watch and a lunch which was again pleasant. What was not up to standard was the breakfast and dinner provided. The selection was very limited. But the staff was friendly.

I am very impressed Received a warm welcome From arriving at the airport until returning, every employee greeted us from the heart. Especially the diving team I could feel that they cared from their hearts. Better than a 5 star hotel. If given the opportunity, I would recommend this hotel to all travelers and I would go back. From the moment we stepped on maafushi we were welcomed from the hotel . A buggy was a couple of step away and our luggages were taken care of. With a little quick island tour we were taken to the hotel and the checkin process was so smooth . It was great service from Sachin from reception to make it all happen . Seeing his smile was enough to make all our worries go away . The room was excellent quality and the amenities were more than enough for our short stay . Truly amazing view of the ocean at the 5th floor with a balcony filled with privacy . I observed how other hotels had constructed their balcony but triton prestige went beyond expectation for privacy. The next day we planed to go to the beach and staffs understood and guided us to the beach and also assisted with the best and the most comfortable sun-bed from the whole beach . There are so many staffs around and attentive. The breakfast also had amazing options and staff were attentive as well . Monir was one of the best server there he knew me and he was always smiling and engaging . Even-though i came late to breakfast he didnt show any frustration kept his smile from his heart and it really meant alot . And to even sum it up we had like 2 hours after check out still they offered to use their pool facilities and shower as well .. It is very happy to know that they are still in service for us until we take out last steps out of the island . Thank you all for this anticipatory and making this trip memorable .
