Fourth stay for our family here. Very large rooms with small kitchenettes. All very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is main building is good. We didn't use the restaurant, but we had two really nice evening meals at the fantastic Beach Club, just a short stroll away from hotel (reservation required on sunny days). No airconditioning in rooms, but we were in garden suites and they were cool (even with 30+ degree weather). We rented bikes (excellent quality) from the hotel which is highly recommended with all the different cycle routes in the area.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel and beautiful large rooms. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are equipped with spacious bathrooms. We have enjoyed it. Really a adviser. We will surely come back in the future. Ideal for a few days Roermond. All is at walking distance, bars, restaurants and shops. Outlet is also at walking distance.

The theater remodeled hotel, super nice, the gate is too bright, and in the city center, the gate is the square and the church. The hotel has its own parking lot. After the check-out, you can get a parking ticket for free.

Hotel literally next to the trainstation. But no worries: in 2018 reopend and therefore no noice of the trains as long as you use the airco and keep the windows closed. It is in the center of Roermond. And one can park the car below the hotel (if available) at no costs. We had bikes with us (as many guests had) and could park them in a special bike area. This had an extra lock on the door, so only the guests with bikes could enter this area. Really lovely. Also good beds and clean room and a modern bathroom. The breakfast is good and a lot of choice; fruits, yoghurt, various breads, a toaster, cheese, meat and sweet stuff to go with your bread and eggs, good coffee and pancakes. Fresh juice which you could make yourself. I probably forget something.... abut I nanowire for sure: everyone could take what he/she wanted. On the other side of the rather busy road one could take a drink in one of the cafés. The walking area to the shops started there too. To go to the Designer Outlet takes a moderate person 15-20 minutes. To the Roer 15 minutes and several markets 5-10 minutes. The only lesser thing which I can think of is that the smokers did go the terras in front of the hotel. Because they were allowed to smoke there. For people like me the place becomes a no go area then. All 8 tables around the place where we sat did smoke. Sometimes 3 or 4 people at one table. It bothered me a lot, because although I don’t smoke, I had to smoke. My advise to the management: make an area for the smokers and separate it from the non smokers. Or tell people to smoke somewhere else.

This is really a beautifully located hotel! Within the forest: 's evening a bit of walking to the Iron Rhine, and a wild pig seen. Prima wellness, with swimming pool and sauna! The room was spacious enough, bathroom idem, the soap dispenser did not well, unfortunately, because good shower stuff. The restaurant: clear , compact map. Good quality food. The staff should explain something more, for example, with the cheeses, and when I asked the superintendent for a new glass for the red wine, he first checked whether the glass was really used 😉, I think inexperience. But with all the friendly service!

Hilton Honors üyesi olarak özellikle seçtiğimiz otelde birbiri ardına gelen kötü deneyimler yaşadık . Otele giriş yaptığımızda 14.30 civarı idi, (check-inn 15.00), odalar henüz hazır değildi ki olabilir, bize bavullarımızı bırakmamız önerildi. Akşam 19.30 sıralarında otel döndüğümüzde bavulların olduğu odanın kapısının açılamadığını, görevli personele ve otel müdürüne ulaşamadıklarını öğrendik. İlaçlarımız dahil herşeyimiz kitliydi ve ne zaman açılacağı konusunda hiç kimsenin fikri yoktu. Yoğun ısrar hatta agresif bir yaklaşım ile sonunda gece 2.00 gibi kapı kırıldı ve bavullar geldi. Bu arada bize defalarca otel müdürünün pazartesi günü bize ulaşacağı söylendi, ki bu HİÇ OLMADI :(( Bitti mi, HAYIR, sonraki 2 gün oda temizlenmedi, sonunda gene defalarca söyleyerek odayı temizlettik. Bitti mi, HAYIR, Bu otelde 2 oda ayırtmıştık birisi 1 Eylül diğeri 2 Eylül çıkışlı.Kızımızın başka planı olduğu için. 30 Ağustos günü herhangi bir özür vs. alamamış ve zar zor odamızı nihayet temizletmişken, iki odayı da 1 Eylülde boşaltmamız gerektiği BİLDİRİLDİ. Şaka sandınız değil mi? gayet ***dilerdi, ne otele varış öncesi, ne check-in sırasında ne de otelde geçirdiğimiz 3 gün boyunca bahsetmedikleri bir fazla rezervasyon olduğu , çıkmazsak polis çağıracaklarını söylediler. Açıkcası elbette odadan çıkmayabilirdik, ama gerçekten artık olay bu otelden kaçıp kurtulalıma geldiği için, oteli terk ettik. A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe
