Our room on the 4th floor was facing the train station but very quiet in the night. The room was clean. The bed was big and comfortable. There were 3 windows. Like the round table with 2 chairs, we really could sit for a drink. Breakfast was great. Receptions were friendly and helpful. We pre-booked the underground parking so convenience when we arrived. Lots of restaurants around the hotel and from the hotel to City Hall. The only think that I don’t like was the bath tub was small and narrow so when I showered the shower curtain touched my arm all the time.

The location is very convenient near the train station. The self-check in function is clear and easy to understand, and all instructions are not difficult to understand. The overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom is good, and the shower place is large enough.

The hotel is a two-minute walk from the long-distance railway station. The bus terminal is also on the side of the railway station and the traffic is very convenient. The hotel room is not big, but neat and clean, and there is a clean room every day. The hotel provides free coffee, tea and hot water throughout the day. Breakfast is simple and hot and cold food is available. The hotel is self-check in, but the staff will help. The disadvantage is that there is no restaurant in the hotel to provide catering services. The hotel is quiet and it is recommended to stay for two to three days.

This hotel is the longest time I have lived on this trip, and I feel the best. If you choose for an arrangement , so including breakfast and the so-called three-fold dinner, you should not expect the best of them . First, we got a room on the first floor, just above the entrance .. The hotel's worst room, while there were rooms available. The so-called three-way menu is not very good and very little. Moreover, the cook didn't want to make the orange bavary and we just got deep freezers from the supermarket with a layer of chocolate sauce... terrible! The privilege was also invaluable and consisted of a so-called champignon soup with six sprays of tauge and two champignons... I felt very insulted that this was offered to me... that she dare to serve that is scandalous... We were allowed to sit only at a certain place in the restaurant because we had a arrangement and were treated as a little as t****erang guests.. This is very bad! The servants are not guest-friendly and friendly , I recommend them to take a course with their colleagues at the van der Valk Hotel. Moreover, breakfast was good, just standard as everywhere, but as soon as you order something extra, you will find cheating. I had paid a 3-day arrangement of €335 and will not do this anymore.

The grounds and buildings of this property are breathtakingly beautiful, like a film set that could never be real. The staff exude an air of formal, graceful professionalism. The surrounding region (drive the rural route to Val Dieu abbey) is comprised of mile after mile of impossibly beautiful agrarian hills and valleys dotted with perfect little towns like Teuven. There is a quiet restaurant and bar at the Chateau but the town of Valkenberg just up the street has a collection of livelier bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfast on the property is excellent. Visitors accustomed to the speed and sharp edges of modern life will need to adjust here. Time seems to move more slowly. Our rooms were gigantic, bigger than many apartments and the attached patio overlooked an orchard. The small kitchen had an oven/microwave, electric range and small refrigerator. The furnishings, however, were from another era. They were in pristine condition and comfortable and staying in the room was a step back in time by about a century. Not a complaint at all. Miles of nature and cycling trails start and end from the chateau that apparently sits within a wildlife preserve. The region appears to be a hub for competitive cycling and roads leading in all directions are calling to be ridden. Stay here, breathe the fresh air, wander through the trails and art installations. Turn down the speed of life. Don’t expect to come here for a dance club, fitness center or urban experience of any kind.

Very beautiful and modern rooms. Great TV incl. chromecast so you can watch whatever you want. Entry and exit was very easy and breakfast was also good! Our room was on the side of the airport and it was quiet, at the beginning of the evening you could see a lot of air balloons in the far. We were happy to be surprised to see if you could buy some of the snack at the reception evening, and they sold snacks at about the same price as you should pay in the supermarket for it.
