The breakfast is good, especially many families bring their children to eat. The disadvantage is that don't choose the side facing the highway, the windows are not soundproof, it's too noisy. It's too noisy for children running around in the corridor. Suggestion: If you are asked what preference you have when checking in, you must ask for a quieter room.

Very Good
GGuest UserOverall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the room felt fresh. The shower pressure was excellent, ensuring a refreshing experience. I found the accommodations comfortable, and I could have easily extended my stay. However, a minor downside was the sensation of a syrupy film on the carpet, so wearing slippers or socks is advisable.
BBrtravelStaff - nice
Upper management - not good
Front desk - smells weird
Room - nice
Breakfast - missing items because the managers didn’t purchase what was necessary
GGuest UserWe were traveling from MI to FL and stayed one night. 2 adults 2 teens. Pictures are true and accurate but the hotel is not great. Walls thin, feels old with just a fresh coat of paint. Pool is outdoors and teens wouldn’t use it. The most unfriendly lady was at the “restaurant”. She would have been ok to deal w but it’s not a restaurant- it’s a microwave and heat up type food area. Overpriced. We went to the Italian grill down the street. Location is a good spot. For the price, I won’t come back.
GGuest UserBoth the ladies checking us in/out were prompt, courteous, professional and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, so I was very satisfied there. The only thing I'd change is breakfast. The young lady in charge there was also friendly and hard-working, but the selections were quite limited. I'd like to see some eggs and perhaps sausage, bacon and more fruit. Also, real juice would be welcome instead of the Kool Aid-style drink that was served. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day? Hotel is convenient to Cracker Barrel and several other restaurants and stores. Kroger is just down the street if you feel like ”dining” from the in-room microwave. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, the facilities were great, and I would certainly stay again.
AAnonymous UserService was pretty slow when we got there Thursday night. It wasn’t our waitress fault. Not very organized and kitchen seemed slow.
The next morning we had to pay for breakfast. $15.99 for breakfast that is usually included in your stay.
We only booked for one night because we had a grandson in a wrestling tournament and didn’t know if we would need two nights. I wish I had booked the second night with trip. Com and I didn’t because we were right there at the convention center and I walked back over and ask to get our same room for one more night. We got it for almost double the price of the first night and still had to pay for breakfast.
GGuest UserFirst Impressions...not so great. I reserved 2 rooms; one for my 88 year old mother. They put us on opposite ends of 2 different floors. I asked if we could have our rooms closer as I am my mother's caregiver. The lady at the front desk said the hotel was full and she was unable to change our room assignments. However it was 5pm with only a few cars in the parking lot. Surely the hotel was not yet full and one would think rooms could be switched around. The woman at the front desk was not helpful nor was she friendly. Secondly, handicap parking is at the end of the building on the side, much further away than the ”Diamond Elite” spaces directly in front of the hotel. We did not use the handicap space since there were others close by. Thirdly, the rooms are dark and dingy upon entering with a musty smell. Appears clean however. Honestly, I would have asked for my money back but we have been traveling for almost 12 hours and none of the hotel reviews off 475 in Macon were exceptional. It appears safe here and my mom does have a cell phone to contact me if she needs anything, but we will not be back here for sure. I do expect greater things from IHE and am extremely disappointed.
GGuest UserWe stayed two nights. Here are the key points (good and bad) 1) not the best neighborhood. Located near an abandoned strip mall that has a lot of activity 2) Beds tended to bend in the middle U shaped 3) Right off the highway (Good) 4) saw one roach but only one 5) plumbing is old. Shower made some real noises 6) wooden floors were nice 7) room was clean 8) smell of heavy perfume/air freshener. It would not have been good for anyone with bad allergies. We asked for the room to not be serviced. The next day it was much more tolerable 9) pool was way overcrowded. It looks like a lot of the neighborhood use the pool. I would not get this hotel if you are renting for a pool 10) AC works VERY well. The room was very cool even on the hot day 11) breakfast was good. Waffle, sausage gravy/biscuit, Cereal, scramble eggs. 12) staff was friendly 13) biggest concern was my perception of safety. We kept all our valuables with us. Nothing left in the car when we slept. Repacked the car when we did sightseeing. There is a lot of nighttime activity outside The security aspect is the primary reason that I can not recommend this hotel for families
GGuest User Very clean and accommodating. The staff was nice and the Continental Breakfast was great. I highly recommend Days Inn chain when traveling. It is pet friendly with an added fee and our cat was very comfortable there after 7 hrs of travel. We will be looking for yet another Days Inn for our stay tonight after a long drive and another the next night
VvernandoOn the outside I was a little deterred but inside is a total difference extremely clean put together nice and comfortable and elegant to taste on the inside for your single nighters
