Cambria Hotel St Petersburg-Madeira Beach Marina

Stay was great.

This is a relatively new property with lovely common areas. There are some drawbacks to consider. 1. Daily room refreshing is on request only. The issue, during this stay, was despite requesting both at the front desk upon arrival and with the subsequent text from staff, the room was not refreshed. 2. More concerning was the fact the air conditioning was not operating properly on our first night. Both the room and the onsite restaurant had no, or perhaps very little, air conditioning. Florida, in July, without air conditioning is a problem. Imagine watching the server at the restaurant wipe sweat off her face with a towel and then resume her work. This was remedied by night two, but I remain annoyed that I had to bring this up with an indifferent staff member. 3. Mandatory valet:staff were very friendly, but be aware anytime you want to access your car you will have to wait. Every time. 4.Location: Simple walk to the beach. Few/no restaurants in walking distance. Nearest coffee shop is about a 20 minute walk. Too far from John’s Pass to comfortably walk in the summer.

Had a short and first time stay here. Quick and friendly valet parking-car was in garage out of sun and easily summoned if needed. Reception was friendly and welcoming and remembered us each time we went by. Room was clean and fresh (kudos to no carpet!!) and had balcony overlooking beach. Rooftop bar with shade and pool area. Ate at restaurant for dinner and breakfast with good food and service. Easily walked to beach and to local restaurant for lunch. Nicely located option for beach visit. All staff encountered were super friendly and helpful.

This hotel was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby and very hospitable. I would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation. Our goal was to relax and we exceeded that goal. The rooftop pool and bar/ lounge was spacious and chic.

Dontcha hate it when you book a hotel bc of the pool and spa. But then the pool is dirty cloudy and the hot tub is broken. 😞 Awesome location to beach and my experience at check in was top notch.

Whether you are solo, with friends or family this is the right hotel. It has extended rooms if needed, a large terrace area on the third floor an amazing roof top bar with amazing views with lounge chairs surrounding the views lol pool area up top as well. Walking distance to beach, bars , a walgreens and even a dollar store I believe. I enjoy my stay here every-time. Have stayed maybe 3 already and I would definitely return!

My stay at the hotel was positive. The front desk ladies were welcoming, professional and helpful, Candy, Donna, Juanita and Kim as well as the food servers with a special thanks to Bella. I also want to thank Cliff and Michele, bartenders at Waters Prime. They were great attentive and friendly. The food was very good at the hotel, thanks to Cliff and Michele's recommendation. I had breakfast and dinner there throughout my stay. My only concern I had with the hotel was the furniture in the breakfast/lunch/dinner area. The chairs need to be steamed cleaned. They had quite a few stains and need some TLC. The rugs need to be vacuum daily as people (children too) drop crumbs or drinks onto the rugs and chairs. The rooftop upholstery lounge beds definitely need to be cleaned thoroughly. They do not look like they are being steamed cleaned or changed frequently. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location, great views and relaxing atmosphere.
