Best view and very good ambiance and climate The rooms had a scenic view which was very beautiful and minimum 3 days required to explore the resort. The food was little expensive but the quality is very good. Breakfast was amazing and has very good options

Kudos to duty manager Rebita for handling everything so efficiently and with great passion! We leave with lots of happy memories! Couple of areas of improvement:- -1) Difficult to scan and get all info on pdf, staff needs to inform about activities costs and booking schedule upfront during check in. I think there was some uneasiness there. 2) Regarding Nishani trail: staff and the guide needs to provide more information about the difficulty of trek and ideal footwear, basic hydration and hygiene preparation like carrying water bottles, insect repellent cream etc. It’s not an easy trail with very rocky passage. I believe we had to struggle.

The location of the resort is the highlight and we enjoyed the weather with misty evening. The attitude of the staff is of another level and the overall experience is wonderful The food is very nice and the variety of food also makes a great choice. The forest experience like seeing the lightning insects from room and small animal and birds roaming around the room is of great excitement and experience

The quintessential Taj experience yet again at the Taj Madikeri. This time it was with family that included two small kids. From arrival to the stay, dining and exit - everything was warm, spot-on and guest-centered. We have always been fans of Taj properties, and the experience was again brilliant. The beautiful property aside, the staff, as usual, went above and beyond to ensure a warm, safe and indulgent stay. Mustaque at the front reception was great, ensuring our ease in everything, providing recommendations, answering questions and clarifying many things, including arranging for swimwear that I had forgotten to carry with me - delivered at the hotel in less than 2 hours. Ricky, Apurba, Subho and others in food and dining went overboard in ensuring we had a great culinary experience, customising our food and ensuring we had what we needed for the kids. Guest services were brilliant as well - the 2 staff members who attended to our rooms were very attentive and skilled. There are too many excellent staff members to mention, but as expected from Taj, everyone ensured a super comfortable stay for all of us. Looking forward to the next visit, hopefully in winter when the landscape changes significantly, making the property even more gorgeous than it already is. And the property - it is fabulous and beats pretty every other Taj we have stayed at so far from a beauty and serenity perspective.

Taj Madikeri - Is a rare blend of all right things at right proportions. Its location is extremely good, the property is so vast, still upkeep is so good. The property is a green haven with wide variety of trees, flowering plants, creepers, butterflies, and many more natural wonders. One can feel so immersive experiencing the nature from Taj Madikeri. Adding to all this, the staff and their attitude is very much positive and pro guest friendly. Only difficluty we faced is different levels and different independent cottages at levels which makes access difficult. The team deserves a special mention - i am infact grateful to the supportive actions of the team. I did a small mistake in booking (I booked 2 days in advance than my intended arrival date) but thanks to the wonderful supportive team, they made me so comfortable. Just on one phone call they changed my reservation date to my arrival date. I wonder how cumbersome this experience would be at other places. Thanks to Mostaque at front office who was extremely helpful in many ways. He held the nature walk for us for few minutes and i felt so grateful for that, as i would have missed very important activity. Rebita Duty manager is so helpful in billing. Pradhan, naturalist is a passionate *** and i am so glad i could meet a *** so passionate abt ecology. Food is amazing - few items we tasted here are best tasted here than any other place, including many other Taj hotels. Appreciate the Chef Raja, whom we met and expressed the amazing feeling of taste. So in all ways, Taj Madikeri is wonderful experience. Leadership deserves appreciation for handling such huge property with care and team with such motivation.
