Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel has excellent landscaping, just like a park. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and getting a taxi was convenient. It truly lives up to its 'Hua Shao's Top Pick' reputation!

Facilities: Very good Cleanliness: Very clean Ambiance: Very good Service: Very poor. My friend handled the check-in, so I'm not entirely sure about the front desk service, but it was probably decent, though nothing particularly outstanding. What really upset me wasn't the front desk, but the bellhop!!! The bellhop's attitude was ridiculously bad. I drove my car to the entrance to drop off luggage and asked the bellhop where the parking lot was. He reluctantly told me he didn't know, then took me on his electric cart and led me to a parking spot under a tree (even though there were plenty of empty ones available). As a result, my car got scratched by a tree branch. The problem is, he was directing me while I was backing up, and this still happened—it's incomprehensible. I said I wanted to move to a nearby spot, and he immediately made a face, saying he was about to leave and I should hurry. The whole process didn't even take 3 minutes, so I don't know why he was in such a rush. I suggest your hotel properly train its bellhops; this was simply unreasonable.

The environment is beautiful. There are staff checking people in and out of the island, which feels very safe. All the rooms are private and right by the Nile River. The service is excellent, and the staff are very kind and friendly. The infinity pool faces the Nile River.

Julie's Villa King's Island Luxor, nestled right on the Nile, offers breathtaking sunset views over the river while you dine. The swimming pool is massive and faces the Nile directly. The hotel boasts fantastic greenery and a great ecosystem, so you'll constantly hear birds chirping. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the restaurant lacks variety in its dishes. I was incredibly lucky this time to stay in the same hotel as 'Divas Hit the Road,' even in villa 37! It was a truly wonderful experience. Definitely a high recommendation!

This hotel is absolutely stunning; the photos don't do it justice. The lawn is dotted with meticulously trimmed African-style trees, and at night, you can stargaze. The temperature is pleasant, and there are hardly any mosquitoes; each room even has a mosquito repellent lamp outside. There's a wonderful sense of tranquil spaciousness. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering great value for money. Right next to the Nile River, you can see the Valley of the Kings on the opposite bank, and the infinity pool by the Nile is absolutely breathtaking! We didn't book all-inclusive, so breakfast wasn't included, and dining out was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi in Luxor is a real hassle, so we often went hungry in the mornings. I'd recommend buying some food the day before or booking breakfast. However, on one occasion, we were stopped and checked for outside food when entering the hotel, which I didn't quite understand or appreciate. Most of the staff were friendly, and they didn't fuss about our late check-out on the last day. We only had one slightly negative experience: we tried to book the hotel's felucca, and the staff told us to come back at 6:10 PM to see if it could sail, or switch to an electric boat if not. When we went to the front desk after 6 PM, there was a different person who told us we had missed the window, as felucca bookings were from 6 PM to 7 PM, and if we missed it, we'd have to book for the next day. I found this confusing and felt like they were passing the buck and unwilling to help.

This was my favorite hotel throughout my entire Egypt trip! Luxor's weather was wonderfully warm, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains was absolutely beautiful. From the balcony, you could see the Nile River right in front, and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever get the chance to visit Luxor again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

Upon check-in, there were no slippers. I called the front desk, and they said they would send some up. When I went down to the front desk, they said they'd deliver them. That night, I slipped and fell in the shower because there were no slippers. The next day, I had to contact Trip.com to get slippers. It took three hours after Trip.com intervened for them to be delivered, and a local staff member brought them over looking very unhappy. The service is terrible. I called the front desk in the morning to arrange a car, and no one answered. If service is important to you, I'd be cautious about staying at this hotel.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. When we checked in, we reported that the kettle was broken, but then they accused us of breaking it and forced us to pay 1000 EGP upon checkout. I'm curious, what kind of kettle costs 1000 EGP? Furthermore, the attitude towards Chinese guests during check-in was very poor; it took half an hour just to wait for check-in, and the whole process took 50 minutes. Also, if you don't tip the staff, they won't even talk to you. I gave 50 EGP and they still wouldn't help with my luggage; the bellboy explicitly asked for 100 EGP 🕺. I really don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. As a diamond member, I rarely leave bad reviews, but I just couldn't hold back this time; a negative review is absolutely necessary.
