I had a 4-night stay, and I have no complaints. An Uber from Holiday Inn Las Tablas to Barajas Airport was about 21 Euros, and it took 20 minutes without traffic (holiday weekend and traffic was dead), so plan accordingly. There is a small store within a 5-minute walk where you can get items such as water, snacks, and drinks on Calle De Isabel Colbrand. The room was very comfortable, it featured a queen bed, a TV, a decent size bathroom with a hair dryer, and it also had orange-ginger soap, body soap, and shampoo. Just be careful not to spill water on the bathroom floor; it gets slippery. There is a desk, a chair, a single couch, and windows you can open and get fresh air. The AC unit worked fine; everything was spotless. You will also find a mini-fridge with small glass-bottle cokes, juices, beer, a bag of peanuts, and a chocolate bar (only charged if taken). There is a vending machine in the lobby where you can also buy can drinks (it tasks 5-10 euro bills and coins). I paid 1.5 Euros for one and .60 for another (go figure). Although I did not eat at the hotel, the menu seemed to offer a variety of food. An Uber ride to the Center of Madrid cost me 25-30 Euros, and it took me about 25 minutes to/from the City Center area.
The NH Madrid Las Tablas hotel is in a convenient location for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is 14km north of the city center, close to business parks and the BBVA Financial City, while Madrid’s top sites, such as the Museo Nacional Del Prado, are within easy reach via public transport. The Maria Tudor light metro station is 300m from the hotel and an El Corte Inglés department store is also within walking distance. NH Madrid Las Tablas has 149 spacious rooms decorated in soothing brown shades with blue accents. Each room comes with all the necessities such as free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a minibar. The breakfast is a delicious affair with many options, including local Spanish specialties. Our in-house restaurant serves scrumptious local and regional cuisine, while guests can also have a drink with a light meal in our bar - a bold and contemporary space to unwind. On warm days, opt for a drink on one of our two outdoor terraces. Guests will be able to invigorate their body at the fitness room. For functions, the hotel has 8 meeting rooms for up to 70 people.

Overall a good hotel and a pleasant stay. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well as complimentary water which isn't too much to ask these days. The breakfast area was too small for the number of guests and there was only one coffee machine meaning there was a permanent queue. There is a small gym which desperately needs air conditioning and would benefit from some music.

Good place to stay! Rooms are spacious and facilities are good, location not as bad as other reviews, took my wife over to see Madrid and staying outside of Gran Via and Sol was a blessing as the hotel is located about 25mins away via the underground which, is only round the corner. Staff are very helpful and speak good English, food was a lot better than I expected! Overall I would recommend this if you are looking to visit Madrid but dont want to be in the heart of the nightlife!

Stayed end of Feb during a business trip, greeted by the main entrance doors not working and the side door jammed. Security assisted with gaining access but not a great impression. The hotel card reader was not reading any of my cards even though I had just used them outside. I asked where the nearest bank was but the staff could not help apart from shrugging their shoulders. Another person had the same issue after me and it transpired the trainee receptionist had not got the experience to deal with the issues. The hotel was clean with decent rooms as you would expect at this level, the rest of my stay was pleasant with helpful staff.

Being a full-time traveler who has visited more than 200 countries and territories over the last 14 years I have stayed in countless hotels around the world.
Occasionally, my brother, who has epilepsy, joins me when there’s no one else to look after him. During these trips, there have been challenging moments when he had seizures. Typically, hotel staff assist by calling paramedics, but the staff at Hotel Chamartin the One have been exceptional.
Special mention to receptionist Lara and her manager Oscar who personally checked on us in our room, brought us water, and even provided medicine for the wound my brother sustained from a fall during a seizure. Both of them were simply amazing.
THANK once again Lara and Oscar. This hotel will undoubtedly be my first choice if visit Madrid again

Good design and nice comfortable room, good amenities. Not very fancy neighbourhood, but well connected and just
walking distance to the train and metro station. Some difficulties with the staff: at the check in we arrived 2 hours early at 12:00; the room was ready, but they asked for an early arriva extra charge. After negotiation they waved the extra charge. The last morning I had a work meeting at 10:00 with 2 people and I asked for coffee but both bars in the lobby and at the pool were closed until 10:30. They agreed to make an exception and to serve coffee before 10:30; the waiter was very annoyed in front of my guests.

Clean hotel. Well located close to Metro - 5 minute walk. Close to food stores; Small fridge available in room. Friendly staff. Cute decor. Rooms are extremely warm at night. No air conditioning in working - centrally monitored by hotel. Had to open window. Rooms are not soundproofed. We turned on fan to muffle sounds from other guest’s rooms. Bathroom door is accordion plastic door, which does not lock and needs repair. Very inconvenient since NO privacy in bathroom. All in all a good value for cleanliness and standard European room with no frills. The bathroom door should be fixed or replaced to give some privacy to guests staying in same room. I would recommend hotel in spite of small conveniences if you’re looking for a clean place to rest.

They should change some things in the Lounge, the armchairs and low tables are uncomfortable, the waitress knelt on the floor to clean it and serve us.
Very excessive price of drinks, even if you don't know where it is, and they don't have a visible price list.
We asked for a large bed when booking and they gave us 2 small ones.
Very good views.

A pleasant hotel for a quick business trip, everything was okay, both bedroom and bathroom were great, staff professional and friendly and good breakfast. Nothing spectacular, it's a business hotel, but nothing to complain about, on the contrary and they really do their best. I would stay again.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was comfortable and modern. The bed was enormous, largest I've seen and beyond a king bed. We joked that we could have fit 4 people on it. The pillows were also fluffy and shapely. There is a mini fridge that were able to use to store cheese. The bathrooms have fig products. While I wasn't a fan of the scent, it didn't linger and Crowne Plaza is not stingy about products. There is hand soap and body lotion next to the sink. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in the shower. This hotel also has tissues (a rarity in Spanish hotels) and soft 2-ply toilet paper. Minor touches but they definitely elevate the experience. The towels smelled clean and there were glasses for use throughout the room. The only feedback was the staff wasn't very welcoming or helpful. We checked in late and the night receptionist seemed bothered to see us and didn't have any suggestions for where to eat. We later asked if there's a channel that has the Real Madrid football match and they had no idea. We checked out early in the morning, around 7am, and there was a wait when the receptionist prioritized check-ins but who checks in at 7am? He forgot to email the invoice and when I emailed for it, that took 2 tries and almost a week to get it.
GGuest UserThe environment of the hotel is very good. The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. The service is good, the waiters are very warm and friendly.
GGuest UserAs a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. Further, upon entering, we discovered that Mr. Flores and his team were kind enough to provide us with several 1 liter bottles of both sparking water (Vichy Catalan) and sti
GGuest UserWe stayed here for a weekend break, smooth check-in and staff were Brilliant and helpful, hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and spoilt with the view of Madrid, view bar was fabulous, wifi was brilliant and breakfast was wow especially the omelettes, will be definitely be returning, thanks Riu Plaza for a brilliant break
GGuest UserGreat location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!
GGuest UserRoom was nice but I expected much more interesting decor from the ads. Area was very subdued, I think the restaurant was closed, maybe because of off season. Bed was comfortable and room was adequate. Liked the room darkening shades. Front desk help very nice and helpful with transportation questions. Overall harder to get to than I needed.
GGuest UserWe stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.
DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many.
The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and that’s where the positive comments will stop.
Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the “App” Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners.
The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing.
Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didn’t work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue.
Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didn’t want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it.
The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned.
Over all it was an effort that I don’t need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility.
I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.
No ofrecen comidas salvo unos bocadillos. Este es un tema en el que deben mejorar. En el baño también deberían poner algo más de luz . En general una estancia agradable para pasar un día de tránsito.
GGuest UserModern new hotel! Responsive staff always ready to help! The rooms are small but everything is very well thought out! The only thing that was not convenient was the location of the hotel! There are no shops, restaurants nearby and nowhere to even buy water! To the airport 20 minutes about 25 euros
