Aspasios Atocha Apartments

This is apartment has an easy check-in process through a touch screen monitor where you can scan your passport easily and get the access card right away too. We stayed on the 3rd floor, apartment A with 2 bedrooms. There's 1 elevator that goes up and its not busy at all. The apartment has a full kitchen with with ref, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a "nespresso" type coffee machine too with capsules included. there's also a washer but no dryer. Instructions are in spanish so you can just google for the english manual. This apartment is very clean, comfortable and modern. It is centrally located, within walking distance to the atocha train station, a metro station, groceries, restaurants and several museums. We stayed almost a week here and when we ran out of soaps, shampoo and coffee capsules, we just texted the contact and these supplies were replenished the next day. The only negative thing i need to mention is that during our last 3 days there, when we arrived past 7pm, we saw different people hanging out outside the entrance to the apartments where the garage entrance is located. We noticed one appeared to be injecting himself. Dont know if he was doing *****. He also had cardboards layed out and blankets. We were scared so we rushed inside quickly. This is something that they should definitely address. They don't have a 24/7 person manning the desk, so I guess this is not noticed by the apartment personnel.
