The hotel is located near the Royal Palace and the Sun Palace Square, which can basically be reached on foot. However, the facilities are not hotel standards, more like a youth hostel. The address is in the middle of the building, and the elevator is relatively old. If the suitcase is too heavy, don't consider it. The door is key-locked, which is not safe enough. The room is very poorly soundproofed, and it is close to the street, the road is narrow, and the surrounding environment is very noisy. You need to press the bell for the first check-in. The cost-effectiveness is not high, it is recommended to choose a regular hotel

Excellent hotel. Good location, close to attractions. Everything is clean, cozy. The staff is polite and friendly. There were no complaints about the cleaning. We liked it, we will definitely come back.

They’re located in a lovely old building, but their prices are excessive what is offered. Our twin room was a good size, but that’s the end of the positives, the negatives are the poor WiFi and the receptionist who no idea how to work with the public, the rest is mediocre at best.

I regret to say that this is the worst place I have ever stayed at. It must not have been upgraded since the Eighties or earlier. The room is very small, the bathroom is tiny, there are only two very old plugs, one above the middle of the bed and one next to the entrance (none close to the tiny desk, which is by the bathroom door). The wifi doesn't work. I have a recent phone and none of the 3 wifi lines worked. The first night there was no hot water. The shower holder was broken and we had to hold the cheap shower head in our hand. The room gave to the interior light-well of the building where all the air conditioning engines are located. Therefore, we heard their noise all night long. The window is very old and not double glaze. The worst was the bed. Very small (hard to consider it a double bed) and with a mattress that was probably 30 years old, extremely uncomfortable and completely worn-out. So, between the noise and the bed it was absolutely impossible to sleep. To have the room cleaned you must put the sign "please clean the room" on the door, otherwise they don't clean it. But as no one bothers to inform you about that (does it take much to mention it when the guests arrive or to put a sign inside the bedroom?) if you don't put the sign, your room will not be cleaned. Now, if I had paid 40 Euros per night for this room, I wouldn't complain. But for 100 Euros per night, this place is a rip off. We went to complain the first night and the guy at the reception said that he couldn't do anything and that we had to talk to the manager the following day. We did, and she said that "no one had ever complained", which is something I find very hard to believe.... So: old place, tiny, not clean (there were pieces of chocolate on the wardrobe shelf), very noisy, totally uncomfortable. Does it take much to replace mattresses so guests can at least rest better? Just this shows how this place works. Avoid it.

Room very small and all the items were very very old. The bad in the room was very small and uncomfortable, during the night the room was too hot which I was struggling even to sleep. The only good thing is the cleaning and location. I have been 2 night and I did not sleep well in both that. I strongly do not suggest.

You have to evaluate the location, 3 blocks from Gran Via, and its value, which only a capsule can match. We cannot stay on the superficial, such as the pillow or the small bathroom. Everything serves its purpose. Clean sheets, new mattresses and pillows. Daily cleaning, wifi. For me, excellent.

I really liked it, super clean, the people are very friendly, the area couldn't be better. In three minutes you are in Gran Vía. The Malasaña area is very lively at night and you feel safe, you have many places to have breakfast, lunch and drinks. I recommend it a 10.

A little difficult to find as it is in a building.. But the location is excellent, central, lots of restaurants to eat fabulous tapas, and lots of metro stations nearby. Rooms with bed, bathroom, TV and wardrobe, very minimal, and air conditioning. The smiling staff, even though when we arrived, the girl saw that we didn't understand what she was telling us (all in Spanish) and was getting annoyed. For the rest ok.

The hostel is inside a building located in a central area of ​​Madrid, next to bars popular with young people.
