When we arrived at the hotel, there was no receptionist at all, and the door was locked and we couldn't get in! I called them several times and got hung up on several times. It was a terrible stay! ! !

The location is perfect, because it is next to Gran Vía, as for the facilities, the beds are very uncomfortable, the shower is small and without a screen, so when you wash your hair all the water comes out and you wet a towel.

Honestly, it is in somewhat terrible and deteriorated conditions, the bad smells from the street come in....otherwise, the bed is very comfortable and to be quiet it is fine and also sometimes it is very economical.

The online check in form was not in english version.
It was very difficult to use the key which was provided by the hotel to open the door at main entrance.
Water prevent door n the bathroom was broken in Room 201.
It was smell from the bathroom.
Nobody to change the bath towels and clean in our next booking day.

Check in takes time! Unclear instructions! Many customers was waiting outside this hostal, and no one tells them what to do. I can see it literally every day.

Upon arrival, the application had not sent us the email to check-in, so we had to call the hostel several times to have it sent to us. The keys we were given didn't open any of the locks, and if they did, it took us 10 minutes to do so. In addition to calling the hostel and telling me that they would come to bring a technician and he did not come, so I had to call again and they did bring him. The TV remote doesn't work.  the window has no curtains so light gets in and wakes us up in the morning.
Positive: perfect location, 1 minute from Gran Via.

I’d accept remote concierge for check-in but it took ages for a non-Spanish speaking traveler to figure out the right number. The main door of the property is worn just like the one of the bedroom - yea what exactly this price could offer you is a bedroom. Poor ventilation anyway thank god I’m visiting Madrid during the short-lived rain season. Unless you are really seeking for a so-called private single bed it’s better for you booking a shared dormitory somewhere near to it.
