Cathedral of Almudena, Royal Palace of Madrid, Mayor Miguel, and Plaza Mayor are all conveniently within a 10-minute walk. The hotel staff is also friendly. Especially the reception staff were very friendly. The price is also cheap.

I made the reservation one day in advance on December 31 in the afternoon when we were very busy with the preparation of the party, when I saw the 3-star hotel, well I said this is it, in the advertisement it put the king-size bed, and book with my two girls (one baby and one 3 years old) and my husband. In the hotels where we have gone we have always slept together in large beds, we enjoyed sleeping more with my girls since we are always working.... The problem when we went to register the entrance, an employee attended me from the first sight, customer service has not been done as it should be, nor does he look you in the face.... when I answered that there are 4 of us, he began that he cannot to be and it cannot be, I let myself that the bed is small, but I thought a bed of 160X200. I asked him if I can change my room, he answered: it can't be and it's impossible, and when we looked on the web if there were rooms available, what is his job when he can't change my room? In short, we had a very bad night and he did not receive us well in that one, my husband slept in a hostel nearby ........ and the day after the shift change in 1 second the problem was solved by the other employee. this hotel does not deserve the 3 stars, and courses to improve customer service, we went with the idea of having breakfast there, but we got angry and went somewhere else. The thing that I loved in this hotel and it must be said is the CLEANLINESS, EXCELLENT.

Very nice location, clean room and efficient and friendly staff. It was a bit expensive, but that was because of the busy weekend in Madrid. Close to bars and restaurants, a few blocks from the metro station. We did not try the breakfast. Very likely that we will go back.

After seeing the descriptions of the hotel regarding all its services, I feel obliged to warn my readers that nothing it describes is true. There is no bar or buffet breakfast. The air conditioning is at the discretion of the receptionist and if he feels that it is cool they turn it off and there is no control from the room!!! , the facilities are old and with little maintenance. The hotel's descriptions of service and features are misleading. I do not recommend it.

Best thing about this hotel is its location. Less than 15 min walk to palace, mercado Sam Miguel and Plaza Mayor. Lots of great tapas bars on Calle Baja, 10 mins away. We walked everywhere Bed very comfortable, great shower and air conditioning and room was clean. Hotel could do with updating/redecorating but don’t let this put you off. Receptionist rang taxi for us to get to airport. Set price €30. Loved Madrid. Would recommend for a laid back short city break

The location is accessible by bus or metro. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace is about 15 to 20 minutes. It has a wifi and air conditioning. Price for the hotel is really worth it. Highly recommended for business, couples and family for stay.

Excellent stay again and excellent service from my favourite hotel. This hotel is situated well within walking distance of all of Madrid's major attractions. Lots of great tapas bars close by and only a few minutes walk from La Latina metro station. The staff are friendly and attentive and make you feel at home. Oscar on reception was very helpful on arrival and I recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Hotel de 3 estrellas justitas. Personal de recepción amable. Buen funcionamiento del aire acondicionado. Buena ubicación cerca del metro. Por lo demás, la cama no es cómoda, la habitación daba a un patio interior de conductos, el agua de la ducha salía marrón al principio, y tras un buen rato esperando, seguía saliendo turbia. Curiosamente, la del lavabo salía normal.

Lamentablemente, nuestra segunda estancia en este hotel en Madrid no cumplió con las expectativas, especialmente en comparación con nuestra primera visita. El estado de la ventilación en las habitaciones dejó mucho que desear; el aire era denso e incómodo, lo que hizo difícil descansar adecuadamente. Este problema nos llevó a cambiar de habitación, pero incluso, la nueva no ofrecía el nivel de confort y calidad que esperábamos. Las habitaciones en general mostraban signos de desgaste, con camas y muebles que no estaban a la altura de lo que se espera de un hotel. Después de esta experiencia decepcionante, estamos considerando seriamente no volver a hospedarnos aquí en futuras visitas a Madrid. Es una lástima, ya que se encuentra en un lugar centro del barrio La Latina en Madrid. Con mucha area de turismo a su alrrededor. Destacamos la amabilidad del personal del front desk quienes en todo momento intentaban solucionarnos la problematica.

Desastrosa experiencia. Hotel que necesita una reforma urgente, habitaciones con mobiliario y camas muy antiguas para el excesivo precio por habitación. En la zona los hay con calidad y precios similares. Baño no apto para personas con movilidad reducida ni personas mayores, bañera antigua. Los colchones necesitan un cambio urgente como se puede apreciar en la fotografía. En definitiva por no extenderme .. UN DESASTRE
