I booked this hotel with my son as it is a musically themed hotel and it has exceeded all expectations.On arrival we were greeted by Anthony who was extremely helpful and very informative.There are complimentary instruments you my can book to play or if you wish you can also book a replica vinyl turntable for your room with your choice of vinyl.Lovely pool side area with chilled music in the background.All of the staff here have been very kind and helpful during our stay.Superb hotel. Being a full-time traveler who has visited more than 200 countries and territories over the last 14 years I have stayed in countless hotels around the world. Occasionally, my brother, who has epilepsy, joins me when there’s no one else to look after him. During these trips, there have been challenging moments when he had seizures. Typically, hotel staff assist by calling paramedics, but the staff at Hotel Chamartin the One have been exceptional. Special mention to receptionist Lara and her manager Oscar who personally checked on us in our room, brought us water, and even provided medicine for the wound my brother sustained from a fall during a seizure. Both of them were simply amazing. THANK once again Lara and Oscar. This hotel will undoubtedly be my first choice if visit Madrid again

The location was convenient. The breakfast buffet was perfect, it had a good selection of food, beverage and cereals. The room was clean, cozy and well decorated. The bathroom was confortable and had everything we needed. I asked the reception for a sewing kit and they had it on hand. So I would recommend this hotel.

They should change some things in the Lounge, the armchairs and low tables are uncomfortable, the waitress knelt on the floor to clean it and serve us. Very excessive price of drinks, even if you don't know where it is, and they don't have a visible price list. We asked for a large bed when booking and they gave us 2 small ones. Very good views.

The hotel is well located near the massive underground metro complex of Dos Ministerios, which is where the good news ends. The hotel suggests a boutique individualised experience, but in reality it’s just a makeover with a global blandness underlying it. Breakfast was only adequate for a hotel with the pretension of charging this tariff. The staff were arrogant and unhelpful on a range of issues which required a different, more individualised approach. “Computer says No” responses tend to derive from cultures that are monolithic and resistant. There are many good hotels in Madrid. This has yet to earn its place amongst them. It has a touch of the “Abercrombie&F” brand culture about it. Purposely exuding “too cool” like a dismissive white privileged preppie.

I stayed here for one night only on a Bed & Breakfast basis. I chose this hotel because it's on the same Metro line 7 for direct access to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium the home of Athletico Madrid Football Club. The nearest Metro Station - Canal - Line 7 - is a 5-7 minute walk away. I was in Madrid to watch football. I had a single room which was extremely small but it had every facility I needed, plus it had water and tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice on offer. Near the hotel, I found a real local bar where I enjoyed a few beers after the game. The following day, I was travelling to Barcelona by train from Atocha Station. From Canal Metro Station take Line 2, Direction Los Rosas and change at Sol to Line 1, Direction Valdecarros, and get off at Atocha Station.

Overall a good hotel and a pleasant stay. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well as complimentary water which isn't too much to ask these days. The breakfast area was too small for the number of guests and there was only one coffee machine meaning there was a permanent queue. There is a small gym which desperately needs air conditioning and would benefit from some music.

Was memorable and outstanding property, we came from hospitality experience in dubai and indeed I can say that’s hyatt regency Madrid on the same level of dubai hotels, the room clean and homey, service team very helpful and exceeding guest expectations, especially to mention the front office team, they manage to organize for me flower and cake for my wife birthday apart of they were being able to book for me dinner in Lena restaurant, absolutely will be recommending your property to everyone in dubai, well done to the Managment for their encouragement and training for the team at the hotel.

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.

Very good, modern hotel, in a fantastic location in the city. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the local Metro station and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza de España and the beginning of Grand Via. To reach the very Centre of the city (Sol) it's only 20 minutes by foot or you can use the Metro with only one change. We paid direct to the reception for breakfast on one of our 3 mornings and it was well worth the money. A good range of tasty food and drink on offer. The bed was very comfy. The WiFi worked very well. Air con was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.
