"I am writing this review on our 4th day here at the Mahdia Beach & Aquapark Hotel. As a travel agency representative, I deliberately booked this stay to personally evaluate the property before recommending it to my clients. I am incredibly relieved that I did not send anyone here. This hotel falls dangerously short of basic all-inclusive standards. Our attempt to resolve these issues constructively was completely dismissed. This is our fourth day, and we have received absolutely no response to our official email to the hotel management. Furthermore, our local travel agency representative, who promised to address our concerns with the hotel management, has also failed to get back to us. When we requested a meeting with the Food & Beverage Manager on-site, he refused to show up. Instead, front desk staff simply handed us a blank sheet of paper and told us to write down our complaints. This is an unacceptable way to treat paying guests. If you are considering booking this hotel, please be warned about the actual conditions here: * 1. Disgusting Restaurant Hygiene, No AC & Mocking Staff: The main restaurant is an absolute nightmare. There is no air conditioning, leaving guests to eat while dripping in sweat. Swarms of flies are everywhere, crawling over the food. Clean plates are rarely available, and the staff leave the tables dirty and covered in leftover food. When we politely asked a staff member to clean a table so we could sit and have our lunch, he simply denied our request. We asked a second time, and he refused again, taking absolutely no action. To make matters worse, when I asked another waiter for some ice, he literally started laughing at me, pointing his finger at me, and repeating, "Haha, ice, haha! Go to the lobby and take it yourself, no ice in the restaurant!" Food is also constantly touched by other guests and even members of staff who openly eat while working. It is a massive health hazard. * 2. Lobby Bar Insults & The "Water" Crisis: In a hot climate at an all-inclusive resort, cold water should be a given. Instead, we have had to wait up to 20 minutes at the bars just to receive a single bottle of warm water. Bottled water is apparently only kept in the lobby. Furthermore, when we asked for an espresso at the lobby bar, we were given cheap Nescafé from a machine. Upon our explicit request to get a real espresso coffee from the actual espresso machine sitting right there, the barman looked at us and rudely asked—"Why???" * 3. Chaotic Show Cooking & Disrespectful Staff: The live cooking stations are an organized mess. Lines are massive because staff work at a snail's pace. We watched a local guest cut in front of 20 people to take the last of the food, and staff did nothing. At the meatball station, the cook was only using 1/3 of the grill, leaving the rest empty despite a massive queue. When we politely asked her to put more food on the grill to help the line move, she snapped at us, saying, "This is my job." The attitude is shoc"
