Nous avons passé 3 nuits au Valmer à notre arrivée à Mahé. L’hôtel est situé à flanc de montagne (ça grimpe mais l’hôtel vous amène en club car), le personnel est presque intégralement francophone et très attentif au bien être des invités (massage couple offert à l’arrivée en cadeau de bienvenue, thé et petits gâteaux en attendant que notre chambre soit prête). Les chambres sont spacieuses et joliment agencées et offrent une vue imprenable sur l’océan et la jungle nous entourant. La piscine est petite mais magnifique ! La voiture est toutefois indispensable pour visiter Mahé. Nous ne pouvons que recommander vivement cet hôtel !

Saubere Zimmer und gepflegte Anlage und guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung von Mahe. Sehr flexibel da wir 7h vor Check in einchecken durften. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer (No.21) was genau über der Küche war und man somit auch wusste was es in der Küche geben wird.

Une superbe expérience qui a largement contribué à la réussite de nos vacances. Un personnel au petits soins pour nous et très sympa avec nos jumeaux de 7 ans.Petits déjeuner et buffet excellent et copieux. Des chambres spacieuses avec vue sur mer avec une excellente literie. Bref nous recommandons très vivement cet hôtel niché dans la verdure. Arrêt de bus à côté de l hôtel, un mini market a 5 mn à pied.

Hôtel magnifique, une merveilleuse expérience à l’hôtel Valmer Tout le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et chaleureux ! On a été chouchouter du début à la fin! Et on y mange très très bien, c’est tres copieux et service incroyable !

The place is really gorgeous. It’s very peaceful and clean. Room was modern, spacious and clean. There is nespresso coffee machine, but capsules are not provided, so bring your own. Water is only provided on first day, rest of the time you have to buy extra. Food was pretty basic, but okay. There is no room service, so if you miss the bf/lun/din timings you’ll have to eat outside. But I didn’t come here to eat anyway. Staff is polite and helpful. One issue I wasn’t aware of was remote location of resort. All of the tour companies were adding 100€ for transportation to any tour, which was really frustrating to me. So if you don’t rent a car it might be an issue. But I ended up enjoying the nearby beach and the resort facilities. If you’re looking for quiet private place with beautiful views - Valmer is your place. One lovely touch was staff calling me for breakfast if I overslept, it was really sweet of them as I did most days🤣 In general - very pleasant experience.

Une expérience inoubliable ! Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans la villa avec piscine en demi-pension. Le personnel était exceptionnellement attentionné ; le petit déjeuner était délicieux (avec la possibilité de personnaliser la cuisson des œufs / omelettes) ; chaque soir, un buffet différent nous régalait (nous avons particulièrement apprécié les buffets italien et créole). Nous avons également profité d'un massage, que je recommande vivement ! Et ne parlons pas de la possibilité de se détendre dans le jacuzzi avec vue sur la jungle. Notre chambre était incroyablement spacieuse, avec un coin cuisine, une douche extérieure et une baignoire près du lit. Une atmosphère très chaleureuse. L'extérieur était d'un charme tropical, avec une vue sur l'océan ; nous avons tout simplement adoré cet hôtel ! Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous, avec tout le confort nécessaire, y compris le parking disponible et les petites voitures de golf pour transporter nos bagages. Et que dire de la piscine commune, avec son énorme rocher de granit, qui nous transportait directement aux Seychelles.

Tout était parfait ! Chambres spacieuses, propres! Espace commun spacieux, bien décorés ! Et la piscine à débordement incroyable avec vue sur la mer ! Un rêve éveillé! Et en bonus le personnel est adorable et souriant! Pour notre voyage en famille rien à redire, nous recommandons!

We stayed at ValMer Resort (Baie Lazare) from 26 March to 4 April 2024 and we found this one of the best holidays ever. Although we've been to several beautiful places (e.g. in the Maldives) before we were amazed by the welcoming atmosphere, the excellent service and the beautiful design of ValMer Resort. Accommodation: The rooms (we booked and ocean view suite) are big, clean and offer some convenient features such as a king size bed, air conditioning, TV, safe, coffee maker, kettle as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. We also enjoyed the wide balcony with a scenic view and fruit bats and geckos hanging around in the trees next to us. :-) Setting and scenery: ValMer Resort is located close (4 min walking distance) to Bai Lazare, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles for swimming, surfing or snorkeling. The resort fits in very well with the landscape as it has been designed accordingly. Rocks, palm trees and exotic vegetation are appealingly integrated so that you get an authentic feeling of the Seychelles wildlife. Service and Food: Both service and food at ValMer Resort can only be described as extraordinary. All staff members have been very friendly, supportive and welcoming at all times. Receptionists straightforwardly took care of all of our inquiries, house keeping and room service spring-cleaned our room every day. We also got two Spa treatments which were very relaxing and can be booked for a reasonable price. The service at the restaurant with a view (which is beautifully located next to the infinity pool) as well as the food being served was one of the best we ever experienced. There was a buffet for breakfast and dinner, which offered local high quality food and varied between different delicious styles such as, Creole, Italien, Asian or international. We enjoyed every night and every chat with the restaurant staff. In sum, this was an amazing holiday and we can't wait to come back to the Seychelles. See you soon, ValMer Resort! Havre de paix avec service de qualité supérieure. Location: sur une colline qui surpomble baie lazare, une des plus belle baie de mahé. Calme et reposant. Chambre: on a occupé la suite Lazare. Impeccable, proche du corp principale (restaurant, piscine). Grande terrasse avec vue sur la baie, dimension correcte. Literie ok. Système tv suffisant mais pas de chaines strangers mis à part des chaines de news. Bien sûr on vient pas aux Seychelles pour regarder la tv, mais compte tenu qu'à 21h la journée est terminée, un petit film serait parfait. Restaurant: le point fort!! Buffet du petit déjeuner et du soir parfait. Beaucoup de choix. Service attentionné avec un maitre qui a un oeil partout. On a particulièrement aprecié et on espère le revoir tellement il nous a fait passer des moments inoubliables. Récéption: Rapide et efficace Pour les chambres plus lointaines du corp central, il y a un service de taxi avec voitures de golf. N'hesitez pas à l'utiliser. Le chauffeur est trés sympa et comme tous le staff efficace. On recommnde vivement cette établissement qui restera gravé dans nos coeurs!!
