Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo bellissimo appartamento a Kalo Nero, ideale per una famiglia, immerso nella tranquillità e nella natura meravigliosa di Creta. Da questa località si raggiungono facilmente in auto le spiagge meno turistiche, quindi meno affollate, ma meravigliose e molto diverse dal punto di vista naturalistico (rocciose, con sabbia, con sassi...tipologie molto diverse). Una vacanza da ripetere!!

First of all Elli is very friendly and welcoming host, she has provided us with all the hints about how to get the keys, which restaurants to go, etc. The apartment is absolutely clean, actually the cleaning lady comes every second day! All the necessary tools (washing machine, microwave oven, umbrella and inflatable mattresses for the beach, etc.) were available. There is a parking place for the car. Taverna Oasis is just across the road as well as few other tavernas accessible by car within 10 min (including Makris-Gialos town). What we have really appreciated is a lot of different little and bigger beaches around, which are not overcrowded even during the season. Crystal clear water is perfect for snorkeling. Two of beaches are accessible by foot, for others it is better to drive for few minutes with a car. Conclusion: we would like to come here again!

We were two families (5 each including kids from 6-10 years) staying in the upper and lower apartment and it worked out perfectly. A well equipped, very clean place with an extremely caring owner. Excellent communication in English/Greek and support. There are two very close calm bays (3 minutes walk) with stone beaches with some shade, crystal clear water and great snorkeling. You can walk to a taverna across the road for great local food and also drive to multiple restaurants and supermarkets within 10-13 minutes. We will be back again!

I am writing this now from the upper apartment after we returned to Kalo Nero after 3 years. From many different places we were staying in Crete since 21 years of visiting, in this particular one I feel like home. Completely relaxed, secure, nice and quiet. Thank you Elli and Nektarios. ( I will not comment or describe the property furniture or accessories - all is there and perfect. I wanted to share the feeling. That you will not find on a photo :)

Dopo essere stati qualche giorno in questa struttura, viene presa come modello per la propria casa! Anche a essere pignoli non manca veramente nulla, è ben organizzata ed esteticamente gradevole, ha un terrazzo molto bello dal quale si vede il mare, la proprietaria Elli è simpatica, puntuale e deliziosa. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato il frigo pieno di cose, ed è stato bello perchè erano le 10 di sera. La spiaggia a 100 metri è una delizia, e la posizione consente di visitare comodamente l'Est dell'isola
