Convenient location close to the city centre, sea view was great. Slight hiccup with the door access but the front counter sorted it out pretty quickly. There was a 50% off pizzas and pastas at the hotel’s Italian restaurant at level 1 on weekdays between 2-5pm (?). Can’t imagine I’d ever have Italian in malacca but we reached at 9.30pm on day 1 when everything else was closed and the pasta we had was pretty amazing, amongst the better Italian food I’ve had.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and first family trip to Malacca. The first impression of the hotel is excellent and unique. The service provided by the hotel is fantastic, staff are friendly and helpful. They are always ready to serve you and with a smiling face. The hotel room is clean and neat. Areas of improvement are breakfast and lift. The breakfast was not as good as I expected. Lift a bit too slow and maybe to have one more lift instead of one.. Overall it is excellent. Recommended if you had a hard time choosing one when you wanted to tour in Malacca. Very convenient and accessible to local attractions and food. Last but only least, you try the spa as it is very good but remember to make booking b4 you go.

Great experience with Rosa Malacca. From the entrance to the room until checkout. Mr Steve, the sarawak reception guy (i sempat tanya dia asal mana hehe) is damn friendly & soft spoken. Siap bagi choice i nak bilik view mana sama ada city atau courtyard view. Siap tanya baby i perlukan baby cot tak. I don’t request anything but he is really accommodating and good heart. We love his hospitality so much The 1st Hotel I checked in without Deposit! But they remind you not to cause damage in the room and no smoking gais. Clean room everything complete. The coffee house vibe is really beautiful with good music. The coffee house staff also friendly echah and aishah. Great hospitality and culture in here keep it up gais. Spacious room with two big single beds and a couch. There are iron, hair dryer, small fridge, electric stove, room slippers, and many more. Great breakfast with many choices. I love the cappuccino the most. Free Car park provided only at level 7/8... A long way to climb from the ground haha. My only complaint is the wall of the washroom. It's quite transparent. People from outside can see you and what you are doing inside 🙊. It's not suitable if you stay with children.

We got a room at level 27 :) room was big and clean. Only the kids next door are noisy and keep trying to open the connection door. Location of the area is good:) walking distance to local shops and food. Also 20 mins walk to Jonker walk. Besides the hotel there’s a mall and the some restaurants on level 1. A 99 mart just behind the hotel and a short walk down you will find 2 local coffee shops:). Hotel also along the malacca river, can morning walk around the hotel. Breakfast was basic but they make it an effort to change the menu we had different protein for nasi lemak. The beef rendang was soooooo good! The basics one are the eggs station, noodles station.

It was a business and family trip. I liked the location to get to Melaka River Cruise and nearby bridge to cross yo Kg Morten. Easy to get food especially for dinner. Parking is ample at the connected multi storey car park within the hotel building. The premier room was good with a big bathroom with bathtub facing the window. The sink and counter top is good to bring food. Since the bathroom has taken up a big space..the room is a little bit cramped if you have stroller and big luggage bag but there are a lot of cabinets to put your things. The food for breakfast is a little disappointing as it is a small selection in comparison with the price if you need to add breakfast and they were no pastries, for 2 days the sambal nasi lemak was overcooked.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel Melaka, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Zahier, and other staff Mr. Syahmi, Mr. Aliff, and Ms. Alia, whose exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly stood out. A unique feature of the hotel is their dedicated WhatsApp number for guests, which constantly checks on your stay experience. This level of attentiveness is commendable. They even went the extra mile to call me back when I accidentally left my Apple charger behind, ensuring I could retrieve it without hassle. I highly recommend DoubleTree Hotel Melaka to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The combination of excellent facilities, delicious food, and outstanding staff made my visit truly enjoyable.

We booked this hotel as per recommended by other guests reviews. However, the first thing we feel upon arriving at 3pm is that the lobby is very warm, there is not even a think cold air blowing from the ceiling air-con. Anyway, we booked 2 rooms a week ago and we were told that the rooms are not ready, yet. The check-in time for this hotel is 3pm, but we have waited 30 minutes only to get our first room and another 30 minutes to get second room. The first room was super dark as there were only 1 light working, so we ended up calling the maintenance to fix all other lights in the room. The second room was not clean, hair were everywhere and there's even a pair of leggings hanging in the wardrobe. Both rooms showers were not properly clean, hence the water is not able to run, as it's clogged due to massive hair balls stucked in the hole. That's not all. As our rooms doesn't comes with breakfast, we bought 2 breakfast for the first room for next day. There was no meal vouchers given to us except the receipt as the receptionist told us to show just the room key to the cafe staff. But, the cafe staff refused to let us in even after we showed the room key to him. He told us that we need to present meal voucher to him, which was not told to us by the receptionist. We told him to checked in the system as we have paid for it and he refused to do so. He shoved us away immediately without checking further. After all the hassle, we went to the receptionist at lobby and seek for refund. And we were told that it takes 15 working days for the refund (which is MYR30 only). We paid by cash for the breakfast when we check in, but we cannot get our cash back instantly for refusing us go enter the cafe. We don't think that we deserved such treatment by the hotel staff, just because the room rate are affordable, doesn't means the hospitality standards can be regards as third world class. What else can we ask for? If it's not due to TripAdvisor system, I don't even want to give even 1 rating.

The place is great for family. It’s slightly off the city but quiet and cozy. With sea view is the best. Parking is available if you’re driving. The swimming pool is great and there’s a convenient store available as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, spacious as well. I booked an appointment with 2 rooms. There’s a living room with dinning place and a small kitchen. There’s also a service yard with washing machine.
