Newly renovated hotel in little india area. Close walk to Jalan Bunga Raya where there's a path to the river and lots of cafes. Room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple but filling. Service is v friendly. I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel near to the heart of Malacca city, swift check in, room was clean & neat. Plenty of parking even on weekend & going back late at night. The only downside is the wifi is a bit slow. Otherwise I have no other complains. Will repeat next time going to Melaka.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Mio Boutique Hotel in Melaka. I was a bit doubtful because of the mixed reviews, but my personal experience was just great! The hotel is clean and modern. My (single) room (no. 308) was quite small but perfect for single occupation. The bed is very comfy. The AC works well. There is a big Sony LCD TV, a very nice shower, a kettle etc. Everything looked pretty new (or renovated) to me. Because of Ramadan, the hotel's breakfast area was closed, but the hotel has an agreement with the four star hotel next door (inside the mall) where you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast buffet. My stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka was truly memorable, thanks in part to the exceptionally helpful and friendly front desk staff. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hotel, with every corner reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. While not ultra-modern, the hotel provided most essential amenities, including well-maintained gym and pool facilities. The old-school design and ambiance added a charming touch, offering a glimpse into Melaka's rich history. Its strategic location in the heart of Melaka made exploring the city's attractions effortless. The spacious room, with its breathtaking view of the bustling streets and serene river, was a highlight. It offered a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. However, what truly stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile, offering valuable tips and ensuring all my needs were met promptly. For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

We like the place and shall be arranging more stay here , however , our request to extend to 2-3pm not granted and we had to pay a penalty fee. No doubt the staff was courteous, but we were pressured with multiple reminders on penalties despite our earlier booking request for extension . We are having a group of friends which are regular golfers travelling to malacca for golfing and entertainment frequently . Our golfing times are sometimes delayed due to traffic jams, travel time, weather delay etc n we envisage our time check out maybe 2-3 hours delayed which lead to our request but unintentional. Is there any way that the management can check whether this issue can be resolved or recommend us an option . Look forward to your response before our next booking. Tqvm for all matters attended.

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

Enjoyed the good breakfast here ,especially the coffee machine available to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Hotel room was clean but a bit dirty on the towel . The service team was great and friendly. A bit disappointed was the swimming pool is small and close early .

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. The hotel is in a convenient location, but parking is quite troublesome. The room is managed separately from the hotel, requiring us to park in an opposite lot, which is about a 10-minute drive to the highest floor. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. The toilet also needed attention, and there was a persistent odor reminiscent of dampness that we couldn't eliminate, even after purchasing a freshener. Additionally, there were stains on the walls and throughout the room. I provided feedback to the management, but it appears my message went unnoticed. On a positive note, the room does offer a great view of the river and the city and the bed is very comfortable.

Clean hotel, simple but beautiful deco. The room is okay, the toilet is clean. Complete with bathroom equipment. Iron and hair dryer provided. Breakfast food is very tasty. The pool is best suited for children's pools, but if you can provide chairs near the pool, it's okay. The staff is okay. Reasonable price. Check-in check-out is easy, you don't have to wait long. Will repeat again later. Overalls are the best 👍
