It’s a short holiday for me and my husband visiting from Singapore and we are glad that we found the little gem of a hotel that is Courtyard@ Heritage! We wanted to have the experience of living in an old vintage Peranakan styled shophouse and this was it! It still has the charms of little touches of Peranakan heritage in the front of house/lobby and within each room, and the modern facilities of clean bed and toilets/ baths. We are glad that good food is around every corner from the hotel! No lifts in this place though, so take note if you need lift access. Literally next door to Baboon House, same street with Gravy Baby, Ah Ma Hao Liao and next to Jonker Walk. Location is amazing and room was clean! Quiet hotel. Only thing was that we had to ask them to change the bedsheets because there were some stains in it ( maybe due to old sheets) but they did change it immediately with 1-2 hours we went out for lunch! No hassle and they have helpful staff!
The& Urban Townhouse& Is strategically located in the heart of& Melaka on Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. & Built long and narrow, the historical townhouse has three characteristic air well courtyards that interspace the long narrow throughway to the back. These allow fresh air to circulate through the building as the air wells open up to the sky and also allow sunlight to stream in, providing natural ventilation and lighting to the interior. Part of the restoration efforts of Gingerflower Boutique Hotel include preserving an original turn-of-the-century water well situated in the buildings first air well courtyard. This water well played an important part of Peranakan life at the time, being the only source of water for all the household needs for the Peranakan family that had stayed in the townhouse then. & Much of the antique marble, still beautiful though faded with an aged patina, has been meticulously reconditioned in many areas of the Hotel. The vividly coloured Peranakan wall mouldings and plaster renderings in the Hotel’s front facade has also been painstakingly restored. The timber ceiling beams were then sympathetically refurbished and the walls were painted thoroughly with ground sea shell calcium paint which allows the walls to breathe. & Modern fittings and finishes, such as Italian marble bathrooms with rain showers and luxurious amenities, have been thoughtfully included during the restoration process, whilst ensuring that the original character of the townhouse was carefully retained. With this seamless fusion of antique and contemporary, you can now experience a fragment of history, while enjoying a comfortable and meaningful stay in Melaka filled with warm memories. cute budget hotel. Was here to celebrate my wife birthday. We love the ambiance and the hotel hospitality. The hotel was in Jonker road. Just walk around the road and can reach back to hotel when we tired. The only drawbacks is the parking is a lil bit far around 800m from hotel. The breakfast is basic, but we don't care as there are other food that we can enjoy. Overall experience we would love to visit the place again
Great care is taken to ensure guests experience comfort through top-notch services and amenities. Remain linked during your visit by utilizing the complimentary internet access available.Parking is accessible, supplied by the inn for guests who arrive by car. The inn is completely smoke-free. Each morning at Heeren Inn, a scrumptious, homemade breakfast kick-starts the day.

Hotel facilities: small property with no restaurant or chilling areas. Room: my room (superior category) was very small but super clean and tastefully done. Had a window but opened into the hotel patio so didn’t offer much light. Bathroom: modern and sparkling clean! Location: right on Jonker street. Walkable to river side and all the best places to see and eat. Superb location! Breakfast: my package didn’t include breakfast but I was offered to join the buffet breakfast at sister property (7-8 mins walking distance). Decent spread, enjoyed the breakfast! Overall: very comfortable stay (as solo traveler) and would surely come back.

The location is strategic and the hotel has the best service. It’s great that the ancient traditional architecture has been preserved and carried forward. During breakfast, the proprietress personally explained the origin of the hotel. I bought Malacca’s souvenirs because they were not convenient to carry, so the little brother in the store also helped with express delivery. Very attentive service. I will definitely come again during the Chinese New Year.

This is my second time back at this hotel. The first time was more than 5 years ago. I will definitely return here again cause of the location; it is on Jonker Walk and superbly convenient to get around in this area. The only problem is if you drive, you will need to walk at least 5 mins from the parking lots nearby. And if you are lucky to get the public roadside parking spots, will definitely be cheaper to pay than the privately owned lots.

This is my fifth trip to Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As usual, I decided to stay near Jonker Street, the Chinatown of Melaka. This time, I had chosen Quayside Hotel as I wanted to experience a stay near the river. Upon alighting at Melaka Sentral Bus Station, I took Panorama Bus No. 17 at its Domestic Bus Terminal. It costs RM2 per person. The journey took about 20mins and I alighted outside Stadhuys, which is a short 5mins walk to Quayside Hotel. I had booked a Premier Queen Room for a two nights stay and was accommodated in Room No. 204. The room has a balcony which offers a view of the Melaka River. During the morning, it is relaxing to sit at the balcony and enjoy the tranquilness of the river and its surroundings. By night, the riverside is good for crowd-watching. It can get lively and a little noisy as it is just a stone’s throw away from the Melaka River Cruise Jetty. The room measures 21 square metres and Is comfortable for two guests. On the other hand, the bathroom is a little small whereby there is no partition separating the shower area and the wash basin. Hence, the bathroom floor gets wet each time after a shower. Even after switching on the water heater switch, the shower is lukewarm. The hotel provides the basic room amenities such as dental kit, shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, hand soap, hair dryer, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee, tea and drinking water. There is no electronic safe. I had no major issues with the Wi-Fi network during my stay here, though it is a little weak at the balcony area. TV entertainment is limited to selective cable channels such as CNBC, Cinemax & Boomerang (Cartoon network). The room has poor sound insulation. Kids running and the dragging of chair in the neighbouring room can cause some disturbance. So it depends entirely on who your neighbours are. However, I understand that this hotel is housed at the site of an old customs warehouse. As the hotel is of an industrial warehouse theme, the design and build of the rooms do not offer good soundproof walls. This hotel has been operating since 2013 and I believed there has been no major refurbishment. The room condition needs to be better maintained and I would recommend the management to consider renovating the property. Whilst the room is not perfect, the stay experience was elevated by the friendly Front Desk Staff. The Housekeeping Staff also cleaned the room well. My room comes with hotel breakfast service. It is located on the ground floor and starts from 8.30am to 10.30am. I am pleasantly surprised at its offerings which although simple, is rather delicious. The menu comprises of rice (Nasi lemak or fried rice), noodles or bee hoon, eggs, hotdogs, curry puffs, cakes and hot beverages like coffee and tea. Other than the breakfast area, there are no facilities in this hotel. The main advantage of staying at Quayside Hotel is its prime location. It is situated right next to the Water Wheel and the nearby old Dutch buildi

GGuest UserThe hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel service is super nice and maybe on the weekend it's quiet A lot of people check in and need to queue.
My room is really comfortable and the deluxe king room can enjoy two TVs which we can enjoy separately from watching drama.
This hotel has a splash swimming pool and kids pool.
Those who like to relax can enjoy their sauna room and steaming room too, The toilet has a locker so you can put your personal belongings inside.
Other than that, the gym room needs to pass by the swimming pool and walk down only to reach the gym room.
The location is super convenient it's just beside the hatten square, dataran Pahlawan mall, red house walkable and night market. You may also walk to the ship museum .
Overall good and definitely will stay again if the price is still affordable.
VVyiPros: Very good location, near tourist spots (Christ Church Melaka, Harmony street and Jonker street) and accessible to many F&B spots. The interior decor has an antique design and rustic vibe, bed is quite comfortable, basic amenities all in place, security was alright too. Quiet at night so that's good for a good night rest. The front desk kakak is very nice.
Cons: Room looks tidy and clean at first sight but could be better - one of the towel smells and is severely stained, there were hairs on the pillow (from previous guest?)
CCAROLINE MARY LAIWow, this hotel is really clean. I love clean hotel. Thank you Asiatic Hotel : housekeeping team for keeping the rooms so clean. I love this hotel and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel. I love their design of their rooms too. Very comfortable and have lot of places to put our things in organised way. They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. Thank you Asiatic Hotel for your hospitality and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel.
AAnonymous UserLocation was good near town area. There also 24hr coffee shop convenience store nearby.Breakfast Buffet not much choices look like the left over food for the late comer…
AAnonymous UserHotel room is small but adequate. Close to a few major shopping malls, and about 15-20 mins walk to Jonker Street. Have a small gym and breakfast at Hatten Hotel. Coach to and from Singapore is right at their door step which is very convenient.
AAnonymous UserThis is a lowest budget hotel in Melaka, simple but tidy. However no kettle, no TV and the cleanliness of bathroom could have been better. The self check-in process requires verification and a deposit of RM50+ 2 via Whatsapp.
Roadside parking available. Overall it was up to my expectation and had a pleasant stay!
