Charming hotel with a beautifully-designed Peranakan interior - you may even want to spend some time in the hotel just to appreciate the intricate and tasteful in-house decoration. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable, equipped with quality fittings, comfortable bed and pillows and all the amenities you need. Strategically located within close proximity to various places of interest, especially Jonker Street which is just a short walk away. They provide free parking albeit limited and in a very tight alley (not very suitable for big cars), but there is a public parking directly opposite the hotel's designated parking alley which is a very good alternative considering how challenging it is to find a parking spot in Malacca. Reception staff were helpful and courteous too. The only slight downside was the underwhelming breakfast - I would suggest foregoing the hotel's breakfast and instead enjoy a hearty local meal outside. Overall an excellent experience - I would not hesitate to come back.

Spacious room with two big single beds and a couch.
There are iron, hair dryer, small fridge, electric stove, room slippers, and many more.
Great breakfast with many choices. I love the cappuccino the most.
Free Car park provided only at level 7/8... A long way to climb from the ground haha.
My only complaint is the wall of the washroom. It's quite transparent. People from outside can see you and what you are doing inside đ. It's not suitable if you stay with children.

Regular guest at this hotel due its excellent location close to the main tourist attractions, eateries and shopping malls. Room is comfortable and quite spacious. My usual grouse is the tiny shower cubicle that leaves splashes of water on the bathroom floor. But overall, a satisfactory stay.

**Review of Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka**
My stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka was a bit of a mixed experience, with both positive aspects and a few frustrations.
Starting with the positives, the location of the hotel is greatâsituated near the heart of Melaka, making it easy to explore the cityâs attractions. The facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was modern and welcoming.
However, there were some issues that affected my overall comfort. First, the parking situation. While the hotel offers a premium valet service for RM25, it feels a bit overpriced given the alternatives in the area. Though convenient, the cost doesnât match the level of service provided.
The biggest downside was the bathroom design. The toilet and shower are separated by one of those glass partitions, which isnât the most functional setup. It made the space feel cramped and awkward to move around, especially with limited space behind the bathroom door. The shower glass just added to the inconvenienceâhonestly, removing it might improve the usability of the space!
On a brighter note, the staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth.
Overall, Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka has potential, but small details like the bathroom layout and parking costs took away from what could have been a more enjoyable experience.

I feel scammed on my first ever visit to this country. My room was run down, quite old, a bit yucky and dirty. Stains everywhere incl on the bedsheets! See attached pics for details. The furniture, curtains and windows were disgusting and it smelled mouldy.
WiFi barely worked during the 5 nights I was there. Had to constantly reconnect. Had to escape to Starbucks opposite to be able to work.
Mattress totally sunken, never seen anything like it in any hotel. Felt completely groggy and suffered from back pain during the entirety of my trip. This was definitely a first. The sheets were stained as well.
Lobby all shiny and glitzy and clean, the place was busy and staff very friendly holding doors. Felt like a 4 star hotel when you enter but definitely a 0 star for the rooms!

Where do I begin with this hotelâŚ?! Booked for 3 nights via Expedia because the hotelâs reservation page kept declining my credit card but still charging it - will sort this out later. Check-in: was told I had to pay a RM50 deposit in cash when I checked in. My hotel was prepaid online but I have no issue with the deposit, except they wouldnât take credit cards for the deposit as they apparently cannot issue deposit refunds via credit card. I guess they havenât learned about placing authorizations on cards and reversing the charges. They have Touch nâGo e-wallet stickers at reception but also wouldnât allow me to pay the deposit via TnG. Fortunately I had some cash on me or I would have had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. Arguing with the receptionist is pointless since theyâre merely enforcing stupid and nonsensical policies by management. Room: basic but acceptable. The remote controls for the air conditioning and tv were given at check-in. I guess the management is highly suspicious of guests and will not leave them in the room. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best and water pressure so-so. TV channels have zero channels in English. Guess English-speakers arenât their intended clientele. Housekeeping does not automatically make up rooms. I was out the whole day and when I came back around 645pm, realised that the room was not made up. By then I had decided to move hotels and forego remaining 2 nights after the first night. At checkout when I told the receptionist about the unmade room, I was told that I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. What kind of half-baked, cheapskate dump has such a ridiculous policy!? I was told that apparently some guests donât allow housekeeping in and so they just decided to not clean until asked. Amazingly every other respectable hotel in the world has a better solution to this - come back later!! Funnily this ridiculous policy is also not communicated at check-in. I didnât expect an offer of refund for checking out early. Any hotel whose management is such a skinflint that they wouldnât even provide daily housekeeping or keep the remotes in the room can hardly be expected to engage in customer service. Oh as a bonus, I saw an ironing board in the corridor. They wouldnât provide ironing boards in the room of course. The pictures say more than I can. Verdict: never coming back here again if I can help it. Overpriced and does not deserve 3 star rating.

The breakfast is superb, offering a delightful start to your day. Located in a strategic, yet private and peaceful spot, it is an ideal retreat. Highly recommended for those seeking a premium experience. 5 stars! Kudos to Staff Greg!
GGuest UserThis is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. Itâs a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, Iâve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, itâs a Monday so I guess itâs normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full⌠I mean.. itâs a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As Iâve mentioned, Iâve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I donât always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and itâs all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and itâs reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I donât think itâs wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if thereâs no available suite room, I wouldnât even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, thereâs no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. Iâve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that Iâve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that donât provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didnât stay much enough to see it all. Iâve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually donât offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. Iâm not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. Thereâs a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when Iâm back in Melaka.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
VVyiPros: Very good location, near tourist spots (Christ Church Melaka, Harmony street and Jonker street) and accessible to many F&B spots. The interior decor has an antique design and rustic vibe, bed is quite comfortable, basic amenities all in place, security was alright too. Quiet at night so that's good for a good night rest. The front desk kakak is very nice.
Cons: Room looks tidy and clean at first sight but could be better - one of the towel smells and is severely stained, there were hairs on the pillow (from previous guest?)
GGuest UserItâs very clean and tidy room, the space is very spacious for families. They provided the baby cot if you needed. The location wise is very convenient. Overall everything are good
SSafri GhazaliThis hotel not really located at the heart of Kota Melaka but its view is very mesmerizing next to Sungai Melaka. From my room at 17th, could see almost whole Melaka township. The most fascinating is the view of Kampung Morten and the fantastic led color along the river. Also it is only walking distance to the river walk and there's pedestrian bridge cross to Kampung Morten.
In term of service, we were quite devastated amid no one greet us upon reaching to the lobby entrance. I have to pull luggage trolley by myself. Upon check in, again it came to my surprise as I was told that my room yet to ready amid 5pm. Things changed when the young lady (guess an intern or newly hired) manage to get things done. The 'bell boy' eventually was another young lady. We felt sorry and empathy that supposedly as a man I should have pull the luggage trolley.
I guess majority of hotel staffs were ladies including in dining service. Oh not to mention this hotel provide RM10 F&B credit per day.
Overall breakfast is fine although not many choices. Swimming pool is huge and have a great view. We can see sunset from here.
Our room quite huge as compare to other hotels that we have been go. Complete with dining table, kitchen cabinet and kitchen sink. Ample space to perform solah. It just a matter we dislike room with tiles or room without carpet. It could be freezing and annoying.
Overall we would rate 4/5
AAnonymous UserThis is a lowest budget hotel in Melaka, simple but tidy. However no kettle, no TV and the cleanliness of bathroom could have been better. The self check-in process requires verification and a deposit of RM50+ 2 via Whatsapp.
Roadside parking available. Overall it was up to my expectation and had a pleasant stay!
SShuhadaproses check in agak lambat and staff tak betul-betul focus on customer. lepas check in settlekan deposit pon tak dapat resit for depo. Masuk bilik tandas kotor especially area lubang air tu berkerak lantai.. belakang mangkuk tandas pon sama kotor berdaki.. lantai shower spot tu hilang je kalau di tenyeh guna kaki.. so nampak laa housekeeping memang tak bersihkan betul-betul lantainya. selimut lagilaaa bertompok-tompok kuningnya.. tuala berbulu mcm lap kaki dah pon masih diberikan kepada guest. kemudahan iron disediakan di luar bilik tapi tulaa iron dah nak terbahagi dua dengan hitam kerak. baju seluar putih memang bertompok kesan iron nanti adui
